Finally had the chance to use these.The finger holes are a bit small for me, so I have to take out the comfort rings.I previously bought a pair of electric trimmers. They worked well, if the hair is not too long.Unfortunately our Golden's hair get long faster than I can keep up with them. May be able to do better now since I'm retired!The Sharf pet sizzlers worked GREAT.Needed to place our dogs on a table so I did not have to bend over, plus it keeps them still.I'm considering a groomer's table next.These scissors are EXTREMELY sharp, I nicked my finger (Only a Flesh Wound!), made a nice clean cut!Takes practice, learned a couple tricks after doing our seconded Golden.Considering on getting the curved set of Sharf scissors.

May 2018 Update:The seller reached out to me and asked me to try another pair, at their expense. The new pair arrived and from only a few uses, I am very pleased with them! They are sharp, well-balanced and a good price. I would definitely buy from them again just because of their positive customer service attitude!Original review (October 2016):Nice & sharp! Came with a nice leather case. Better quality than I expected for the price! I also like the feel of these!June 2017 Update: they didn't last very well! I didn't drop them, but just by using them probably 25 hours, they loosened up and are no long cutting properly. There is an adjustment screw, but tightening it doesn't seem to solve the problem.(I bought a new pair from a different manufacturer.)

There's a great weight to these, and they are sharp and cut precise. I also have the thinning shears, which I love, but are a little heavy, which causes hand fatigue. But these ones are exactly what I was looking for.

I groom both my dogs at home. I originally bought a cheap $20 kit and realized that the shears just weren't good, especially on my dog's thick coat. So I finally decided to "splurge" on a better pair. I got all 3 types of shears by Sharf. The blend/thinner, curved, and straight shears. The price on these shears weren't too extravagant, but the first time I used them I was impressed. They cut through my dog's thick hair with ease. I would definitely recommend these shears for the aspiring groomer. Very happy I got these. Be very careful when you groom your dog as these scissors are very sharp. I gave myself a small cut the first time I used them.

I bought these for grooming my three small dogs. Although they are sharp and do the job, the finger holes are too big for me to have a proper hold of them, even with the included inserts. I contacted the manufacturer, but they said I would have to get smaller inserts, but they don't have any. I'll search around, but if I end up having to spend another $10 just for small inserts, I'll probably return these and get a different scissor elsewhere. At least the manufacturer customer service did reply to my email quickly.

Sharpness and ease of use. I groom my Shih Tzu myself and these are one of the best pair of shears I have purchased. Great for leg touchup and around paws. Nice even cut.

I ordered these to trim my Golden, but have also used them on my own hair. For the price, they are extremely sharp and have a good feel to them. I've only had them for a few months, so not sure how well they will hold up, but as of right now, I'm extremely happy with them. They also come in a nice case!

These scissors come with a really nice case to store them in. The scissors are sharp and are of high quality. I am not a professional groomer, but I do a lot of rescue work and often have dogs come in that are a mess, so these scissors are perfect for the matted dog or the well groomed dog. The price is very affordable.

Brilliant just what wanted they are slightly shorter blade than I anticipated but good quality scissors nonetheless.

They’re okay, but not as sharp as I would have expected. A little disappointed but they did the job when my other pair needed sharpening.
