5 months later still works well. I habe over filled it a few times and it spilled over when boing AND it still works and the plate still works! I use it every day! Takes 11 min to heat up when full. Lid opens very easy thank God! Great customer service as well from the vendor. Thank you!

This kettle is one of the most useful items in our kitchen. Whether it is for a quick cup of tea, or adding boiling water to facilitate cooking. It is quicker than the stovetop any day. It does seem a bit noisy but it boils a full pot in less than seven minutes. Not bad for half a gallon of water. If you have a big family and need to get instant oatmeal ready in a hurry, this item is for you. It turns off automatically so you can multitask and not worry that it will boil dry. There is no plastic that touches the water as it is boiling. The lid opens completely so you can look directly into the bottom of the kettle with ease. The bottom is cool to the touch even with a full kettle of boiled water. My only observation is that the handle does get hot nearest the lid but the bottom half does not get warm at all. Do not touch the stainless steel side when it is full because it is very hot. I am pleased with this purchase would recommend it to anyone that has a need for hot water in a hurry.

I love this electric water kettle. It has a large bowl that holds up to 8-1/2 cups of water, so plenty of boiling water in one go. Stylish, easy to handle and use. My only negative is that it doesn’t have a thermostat to regulate the heat. It takes about 5-7 minutes to boil and then automatically shuts off. My old one shut off after coming to a boil but then because I could set it to a certain temperature, it would stay there until I shut it off. This one shuts off, then you have to restart each time. The cord is shorter than my last one, so your limited as to where you set it but to me, these are minor inconveniences. So if you drink a lot of instant coffee, tea, hot chocolate or live on Raman noodles! This is a great item to include in your home. I’ve been very happy with it.

All of these affordable tea kettles seem to burn out fairly quickly with daily use. I use mine a minimum of 2x daily, and have found that THIS kettle lasts about twice as long as other similar kettles. It boils water fast, has an insulated handle and a filtered spout. Works great, looks great, & is a much better value than most.

I bought this pot September 17, 2025…the biggest reason I bought this brand is because it was given good reviews…I used this pot multiple times daily, everyday….Today is December 24th, I was boiling some water this morning for coffee & realized that water was spilling out of the bottom of the pot…undoubtedly the heat from the element got hot enough to burn a hole (s) through the bottom… Called Amazon customer service, Amazon offers a 30 day warranty which I already knew expired….what blew my mind was that the manufacturer’s warranty was only for 90 days….which I missed by a week….regardless, I ended up buying a piece trash with no recovery & was forced to purchase another pot from another vender… my suggestion is to publish warranty information on your product description page to better inform customers… Respectfully, Eric V. It hears up extremely fast be careful. The water gets extremely hot and it stays warm longer than on the stove top.

I have no complaints about this glass kettle. It looks nice, works well and is as solidly built as any of the more recognizable brands. Price is right. Good product.

There is no Auto Shut-Off function so this kettle keeps boiling if you don't switch it off and put it back on the detachable base. It DOES NOT TURN ITSELF OFF. So, when you set the pot back on its base, it is still on — and will keep heating the water, which by now may be well below the minimum mark, or the pot might be empty. So, THAT COULD BE A COUSE OF FIRE. The cord is very short. The kettle is so slow - this is not 1000W, 750W max or even less. Leaking over the lid. So, you could boil yourself. Overall, this kettle is garbage. STAY AWAY FROM THAT PRODUCT AT LEAST FOR YOUR SAFETY.
