I bought two of these kits for my 2 granddaughters, age 8 and 9, and I know they will love them! They seem to be good for beginners and something they will enjoy doing!

We are using this for a group project for the kids at our Learning Center. The kids get to do a square when they are done with other work. Together, they will create this adorable blanket and then we will donate it to someone. Everyone is looking forward to working on it together. It is a simple project that can appeal to a large age group of kids.

Originally I bought one of these for my granddaughter who loves crafts. But best of all she loved her colorful quilt which she knotted together & she loved wrapping herself in it! Nowadays, I buy for Toys for Tots collections and as gifts for others. It’s classic and soft!

Great for a kid to kid gift. The tie flaps were to small for me to assemble, so I sewed it with a sewing machine. Fabric was a little thin,but perfect for a kid.

Nothing wrong with it, but it's extremely tedious and would take so long to get done. My granddaughter (7) couldn't stay focused, and wanted me to do it

My girls are huge into crafts and DYI projects. This was a huge hit

I used these kits as part of a summer campWeek that taught about sewing and quilting. I had to help my 7 year old a little bit to get her started but my older girls (8,9,11) got started and finished it in nearly the same day. The patches in the kit don’t stick very wellWith the glue that comes with it. Maybe my glue was old, I’m not sure. Overall it was a great buy for the money and provided an excellent craft for our summer camp topic.

I use these squares in Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes for the little girls. I take one square and wrap it around a small doll. Super cute. I have never used these as intended to make a big blanket so cannot speak to that process.
