Kimbo Espresso Napoletano Whole Coffee Beans, Dark Roast, 1kg Bag

This coffee is amazing for the price. It's ALMOST as good as the premium ones, but for a fraction of the price. It's strong, tasty, aromatic, smell well, the beans are not making the mess as some of them, with a nice colour. The beans are rather smaller, but it's a good thing, because it could be grounded better. Even the open bag still smells fresh. It's a perfect balance between the quality and value. I can recommend this coffee for sure.

These are far and away the best coffee beans. The espresso my coffee machine makes with them is as good as I'd buy in a 'caffee' in the home of good coffee - Naples.

I first tried this coffee in France and loved it, so I was super excited to find it on Amazon. It has a great taste—smooth and not bitter at all. Definitely worth a try! I’m a big coffee lover and still experimenting with different brands, but this one is definitely a win.

My own taste in coffee has always been strong Italian espresso which I like to drink black - Americano style. I normally buy 1kg bags from the likes of Sainsbury, Tesco and occasionally specialist coffee houses if available - prices ranging around £12 - £15 per kilo. This Kimbo brand met my expectations. Good aroma on opening bag and I was pleased to see that the beans appeared shiny always been a good sign. The beans seemed somewhat smaller than most other brands but as sold by weight should be of no consequence. The taste was good and strong -so much so that whilst I usually use up to 5 measures of beans to make a large jug of coffee I found that I only needed to use 3 measures for comparable results using this brand.

If you like a strong coffee, this one isn't. It's nice but as aromatic and intense in flavour as I was hoping for. Won't buy again.

If you like a strong espresso these are for me the best. I’ve tried segafredo, lavazza etc & these taste the strongest & best without any bitterness. Gives a nice crema too.

Kimbo’nun bu ürünü genel olarak oldukça başarılı. Aroması ve tonlamaları kendine özgü, gayet dengeli. Sadece kavrulma seviyesi bana göre biraz yüksek olsa da, lezzet profili genel anlamda çok tatmin edici.

I love this wspresso and it as wonderful taste to it. And a strong dark roast but smooth. I will buy this again. It reminded in Italy.

Ich habe den Kimbo Espresso Napoletano (1kg ganze Kaffeebohnen) kürzlich bestellt, da ich auf der Suche nach einem Espresso mit weniger Säure war. Als Liebhaber von dunklen Röstungen fiel meine Wahl auf diesen Dark Roast, und ich wurde nicht enttäuscht! Zunächst einmal: Was ist ein Dark Roast? Bei dieser Röstmethode werden die Kaffeebohnen länger und bei höheren Temperaturen geröstet, was zu einer dunkleren Farbe und einem intensiveren Geschmack führt. Durch diesen Prozess werden Säuren abgebaut, was den Kaffee bekömmlicher macht. Der Kimbo Espresso Napoletano ist eine Mischung aus 80% Arabica- und 20% Robusta-Bohnen. Diese Kombination sorgt für einen vollmundigen Geschmack mit einer perfekten Balance zwischen Intensität und Feinheit. Die traditionelle neapolitanische Röstung verleiht dem Kaffee sein charakteristisches Aroma. Was den Geschmack betrifft, so bin ich begeistert! Wie erhofft, hat dieser Espresso tatsächlich eine deutlich reduzierte Säure, was ihn sehr angenehm und bekömmlich macht. Trotz des geringeren Säuregehalts ist der Geschmack keineswegs fade. Im Gegenteil, er überzeugt mit einer wunderbaren Komplexität. Die Aromen sind intensiv und vielschichtig. Man schmeckt deutliche Noten von dunkler Schokolade und gerösteten Nüssen, begleitet von einer angenehmen Süße, die an Karamell erinnert. Die Crema ist dicht und lang anhaltend, was den Genuss perfekt abrundet. Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist die Vielseitigkeit: Obwohl primär für Espresso gedacht, eignet sich dieser Kaffee auch hervorragend für andere Zubereitungsarten und Milchkaffee-Variationen. Fazit: Der Kimbo Espresso Napoletano ist ein herausragender Dark Roast Kaffee, der genau das liefert, was er verspricht. Er bietet einen intensiven, aber ausgewogenen Geschmack mit reduzierter Säure, ohne dabei an Aroma einzubüßen. Für alle, die einen kräftigen, aber dennoch bekömmlichen Espresso suchen, ist dieser Kaffee eine absolute Empfehlung.
