Q: Are the 3/4" barbs the OD of them? Meaning they need a 3/4" ID tubing, not a 5/8" ID tubing?

Yes the od of the barbs is 3/4". the tubing I bought from Lowe's was 3/4" id 1" od.

Q: Can 3 of these be hooked together?

I don't see any reason why you can't use a connector to join several together. The inner diameter is large enough you shouldn't see much of a drop in pressure at the outlets. You WOULD need to use a connector to join them because both ends are 2".

Q: Can both ends of the manifold glue to 2" flex pipe or do I need a coupler on the larger end?

It only goes on one end. I have an extra one if you need it
