Good heavy magnet for the price. Remote release controller works well and is compact. Magnet has a lot of features (bond detection, multiple voltage input, built in voltage spike protection) that probably aren't utilized in most installs but nice to not pay extra for them. Power supplies are a bit cheesy but for the money I can't complain. Paid less for this entire kit than a magnet alone from the big brands.

I have had an electrician working on this many several hours to install and getting it to work correctly. Once he finally got it installed, the magnet would lock, but neither wall Exit button nor the fobs would release the magnet. I am packing it up as we speak and sending it back. The instruction are terrible and it is wired correctly.

Works as it should after getting hooked up. Directions are definitely a little iffy but with the you tube videos you'll figure it out. Make sure you get a good and complete flush seal between both magnet and plate for it to hold correctly. I used it for a secret bookshelf door. Only issue I had is the flex. I installed the magnetic lock on the bottom of the door. If you push at the middle to top off the door there is flex, but it does hold it shut very powerfully. I'm going to add a 600lb magnet to the top just for a more sturdy no flex hold. All in all I love it so far just a pain to install. Had to cut the metal mounting plate and drill custom holes for screws. But, like I said my install is a custom secret door. This kit included two power adapters which they say to cut the plugs off of to expose the wires for wiring into different places. A little sketchy if you ask me, they could have had this done already for you. Either way, if your a little mechanically inclined and have the free time by all means go for this. It's cheap and worked great!!!!

I love this , used for door of my work shop. saving up to keep adding them to every exterior door of my home. If you are a little slow mechanically call someone who is sharp to help install it. I love it. one more time . I love it. the priciest one , but you get what you pay for ,, and this baby is solid very good security, no external key pad that could be shorted tec. no key that could be copied,, I love it

Sometimes it work and sometimes the madness doesn’t , we have to physical close the door, doesn’t come with all parts required for proper installation and it doesn’t comes with instructions

Instructions are far from clear. Appear to be written by engineers who knew the detail all too well, and lacked an end user's perspective. Disappointed that the only way to attach the magnetic plate on an outward swinging door is to use a thought bolt (one) that will be visible. All it would take to defeat the assembly is a cheap grinder and 10 minutes. My only option is going to be to weld the plate to my steel door.

Works perfectly. Installation is a pain but not impossible. They could have easily sent this prewired or with a plug and play solution for the power required instead of cutting the end off a power supply and wiring it into the unit.Still the only reasonable solution I found out there.

Nice maglock for the price. Works great. Decent range with the remotes
