The towels do come pre-folded. And though you didn’t ask, I will tell you they are great! I have them in place, full-time, and my half bath. This way I don’t ask guess to use the same cloth towel that someone else had just used to wipe their hands on. And it keeps the room a lot cleaner.

Do they come loose in a box or are they wrapped in plastic?

The towels come wrapped in plastic bundles. They are very strong, cloth-like hand towels that we found very appealing for our restrooms at our Wedding reception in September 2019.
