Mary Meyer Lovey Soft Toy, 13-Inches, Oatmeal Bunny

UPDATE: Our son is now a week away from being six and he still sleeps with his original Bilbo bunny every night. ❤️ We bought this bunny for our son’s first Easter basket in 2019…he was six months old. And he has tons of loveys, but something about the texture of this one was easy for him to locate in his crib and he QUICKLY latched onto it. They were inseparable and it really was the cutest thing until the bunny started to go missing regularly. Why? Because this bunny got stuffed in EVERYTHING. We named the bunny Bilbo because he always seemed to be off on an adventure, and we would try and tell our son at night that Bilbo would return eventually, just go to sleep without him. But it never worked - without Bilbo, he was inconsolable. So, we bought a second bunny. We tried telling him it was Bilbo the next time he went missing and it did not work at all…Bilbo was dirty and ragged and a little rough…this bunny was soft and clean. So, we searched frantically and found Bilbo, and we kept the new bunny and named him PJ. My kid loves both, but the original Bilbo is HANDS DOWN his favorite. My son is almost four and he still carries Bilbo everywhere - to school, in the car, on vacation…it’s slightly nerve-wracking because if we ever really do lose him I will be more of a mess than my son!!! Giving this item five stars and I would give it ten if I could. However, dear manufacturers, please listen up - the material update SEEMS like a good idea - softer and cleaner - but there are multiple reviews telling you the same thing, that the old material was better!! Kids love the semi-rough texture!! And parents don’t care if it gets a little ratty, it’s adorable and treasured and keeps the kids happy. The new material is fine - I still buy this bunny for every baby shower gift I buy to include it. But let’s just say Bilbo is special- and I plan to hold onto him and give him to my son when he leaves for college with a note: “Bilbo always found his way back home - you do the same.”

I initially ordered the Oatmeal Bunny Lovey for my daughter and introduced it around six months of age. She absolutely loves it and we’ve actually ordered numerous due to them being taken everywhere, getting dirty, lost, etc. the material is so soft and doesn’t shed. They do wash well. I’d like to see the price a little lower for this size of a product, especially since we’ve had to order so many, but overall it’s worth it.

My two year old loves this bunny, she sleeps with it every single night and takes it everywhere with her. It’s perfect. She loves that the middle part isn’t stuffed, it seems like that makes it easier for her to carry around/not lose. It is super soft, and I think an excellent purchase and totally worth the money! So easy to wash, I will be ordering more.

I know most people buy these for "human babies," but I bought mine for my "fur baby"--aka my cat Megan--for her 19th birthday! She was the sweetest girl who was battling 2 different incurable forms of cancer at this point, though we didn't know this for sure until a bit later. She had the best care at home & with a specialty vet school hospital. They had already advised us to to buy microwaveable warming disks for her to sleep on since she had lost body fat. I happened upon this looking for a "friend" Megan could cuddle with when she was resolute about having time away from us. (She had earned the right to be persnickety at her age!) Megan LOVED this rabbit & we called her Oatmeal because of her color description. I see there are "silky" versions out now, but it's the TEXTURE that gives this bunny her warmth & extraordinarily high "cuddle factor!" Megan spent her last several months dragging her Oatmeal bunny wherever she wanted to nap. They were inseparable. After a rapid health decline, our "vet posse" helped us ease Megan to heaven while Oatmeal & I held her tight--rest her sweet strong soul! I'm an adult, but I still sleep with Oatmeal on my bed, cuddling her when I need to feel close to my Megan. Our other cats often seek Oatmeal out on my bed for naps now, kneading her & cuddling her warm soft texture. This is a 5-star rabbit in every regard, given to a 100-star senior kitty who loved her to bits!! She holds up so well in the washing machine & I'm sure she would make an awesome gift for an infant! In my case, she was perfect for MY baby who happened to be a 19-year-old cat! Megan adored her!! So for any "baby" on your shopping list, grab this bunny & you'll be giving them so much more than a super-soft, warm "cuddle buddy," you'll be giving them their new best friend!!

Me gustó la calidad del conejito, se siente suavecito incluso después de varias lavadas. Llegó en tiempo y forma. Lástima que a mi bebé no le gustó tanto, porque lo compré para que tuviera una segunda mantita para dormir para cuando le lavo el suyo (que es un osito "little me" que no encuentro por ningún lado). Aún así me parece de buena calidad, bonito y a buen precio.

Estan suaves y de buen tamaño. A mi hija le gusta succionar su pijama o su saquito de cobija para volverse a dormir y con el conejo se le facilita porque tiene varias partes succionables jajaja
