It seems to me that the Effectiveness and quality of these collars has been steadily going downhill it seems the fleas are laughing at The collar I've been using these colors for years on my cats and never had a problem with them but the last two seasons have been horrible they're no longer effective after a month the original one would easily last 6 months

We have been longtime Seresto loyalists and would continue to be were it not for finding this Adam's Plus Flea and Tick Collar! We live on the edge of a deep wooded area, and even with treating the yard, the pesky creatures seem to find my fur babies if they arent well protected. With the cost of everything going up including vet bills and food, I was looking for a more budget friendly collar that would keep everyone comfortable and safe. It was time for new collars as I noticed a bit of scratching had started. I put the new collars on and opened the deck door! Out they went! When everyone returned to the deck about 2 hours or so later, the scratching had subsided and everyone was back to being 😊 and comfortable. That was a week ago and I haven't seen any sign of scratching, chewing, or biting since. I marked the calendar and will update later. I've checked everyone's neck fur and skin and there have been NO allergic reactions, which is definitely a concern when trying something new! I'm very picky for my 4-legged children, as I'm sure you are if you're reading this review. So far I'm quite happy!

I was in high hopes this would be a flea collar that would work. Adams is a big name for vet care for products so figured I couldn't go wrong. My cat is fine with the collar, no reactions but after a couple months of wear, he still gets lots of fleas. I have yet to see any ounce of evidence that this collar is doing anything other than being a band around his neck. Huge disappointment, save your money and get the more expensive ones as they at least seem to have more reviews stating they work compared to this.

KEEP YOUR CAT INSIDE FOR AT LEAST 1 HOUR AFTER PUTTING ON THIS COLLAR. BE SURE TO FEEL THE AREA AROUND THE COLLAR AND IF FEELS LIKE IT IS WARMER THEN THE REST OF THE CAT, REMOVE IT IMMEDIATELY AS THIS COULD BE A SEVER REACTION TO THE INGREDIENTS. I gave this 5 stars because, as a vet tech, I know they have quality products at fair prices. BUT Unfortunately my cat wasn't able to wear their flea collar. It didn't work w her body chemistry and she did have a reaction to it. She is ok, but 15 mins after I put it on she acted really anxious and skiddish. When I was able to catch her, it was almost hot around the collar. Removed it, she was back to normal in about 15 mins. I bought the Adams flea spray and all is good. The vet I work for said that was a very rare occasion. Just be aware but Adam's products great and I will continue to use them.

UPDATE It does not work immediately, but over time (7- 10 days, at least) has helped to control fleas. In conjunction with staying vigilant - washing bedding, vacuuming, use household spray on sleeping areas, etc. I would probably buy this again. And am thinking of using on my two dogs instead of the shoulder drops. I put this on my 8 month old indoor only cat. I read comments that it worked instantly, no more fleas and I thought, GREAT, that's what we need. Put it on.... Next day, I saw fleas on my cat's face!!! The fur on his face is white and it's very easy to see the fleas. I've given him baths, used peppermint spray on him, I've washed bedding, rugs,etc, vacuumed, sprayed, sprinkled diamtomaceous earth, even the shoulder drops --- to the point I worry I'm poisoning my little cat while fleas are flourishing!

No more fleas or ticks thank goodness! Smells strong at first, but is well worth it!

Didn't help my poor kitty much but I could have somehow made a mistake handling it.
