Great log store
Perfect for our small garden and outside fire

Poor quality
Easy enough to assemble but quality not brilliant, certainly not worth what we paid. Roof slats face the wrong way so directs water into the interior. Vertical supports now starting to bow.

Great looking once up. Had to rebuild roof though...
Bought this to with our recently installed wood burning stove. On initially opening the packaging (flat pack sections), the roof slats practically fell apart. The nail gun used was badly done so I had to pull all the rusty rubbish nails out and re-hammer to slats in with fresh nails and re-align. Initially I was fed up, but I ended up making it look better anyway.Other than that, all was fine. The instructions were clear and all-in-all including rebuilding the roof section, it was finished in 1hr45min.In the section when it says nail the rear wooden slats on, I rested the whole thing on its belly (see my photos), mush easier than leaving it stood up as per instructions. After it was assembled, it was sturdy and looks great. Let’s see how it get on with a load of logs in it!....

Large version = Excellent
Good product for the price, comes semi flat pack, so it's mostly in sections which you have to put together and then nail the back panels on. Pretty easy to put up if you are used to DIY or building furniture, I would caution anyone using a drill for the screws, although the wood is ok, it does have a tendency to split when using a drill, a few times mine did, but this has not made it unstable or anything, when it comes to screwing the roof onto the frame, if you are using a handheld screwdriver, be prepared to work up a sweat, even with the drill it took a few attempts. In terms of the structure itself, couldn't be happier, I had a delivery of a full van load of logs last week and basically has stored it all, this being the large version, I utilised the kindling shelf, although I'd reccomend putting a few logs or whatever at the bag to stop kindling dropping down the back. All in all took like 20 minutes to build and another 30 to fill, so perfectm

Good Product
I have read mixed reviews on this but I found it to be a good product. It took me about 2-hours to construct on my own, a second person would have made it easier but I didn't have a second person to hand so plodded on myself. One thing I would suggest .. don't put the shelf in when suggested in the instructions and lay the log store face down to nail the back planks on .. use the shelf in the centre to support the centre post for nailing, this makes it much easier to nail into. To nail them on in the upright position is much more difficult as the log store will move and you have to both support them and nail them at the same time. If laid down, you can carefully place them and nail away. Then, when you get to the height that you want the shelf, screw the back in, lift the log store up, secure the front and lay it back down to complete the back planks.Other than that, it's a nice product for a reasonable price .. and worth the effort of putting it up.

Storage
Brought this to stack our logs. It holds about 100 logs. We brought two bags and it nearly filled it. We weather proofed one end from the rain.

Shoddy workmanship
Real shame that the preassembled parts of this product were put together is such a dreadful way - bent nails, rusty nails, bits hanging off, split roof panel. I couldn’t be faffed with returning and exchanging as I needed the log store so bought more nails and fixed it up.Aside from that it was relatively simple to assemble (once I realised I needed to drill pilot holes!) and it’s just what I needed.Nice product, just be prepared to do a repair job as well as assembling!

log store
Received a day late. Had to contact the seller on the day it was supposed to arrive, to be told the following day that the delivery vehicle had a mechanical fault. The driver that delivered the item was very helpful and had been on holiday for four days previous. The mechanical fault was the fact the vehicle had suffered two punctures, and on the second puncture, there was no spare tyre available, as it was being fixed. One part of the package is 56kg, which should be a two man lift. the driver was able to do this himself, which is against health and safety. The log store we received, the shelf is on the opposite side. It is very easy to assemble, but may need to be unpackaged to make safer moving. Drilling is required, and once received, the information does suggest the drilling and two person lift, but the leaflet is packaged within the four parcels.
