Very Sturdey.
Pole handles the variety of wind gusts with no problem.

Could have been better
I like the design as a whole but if you don't glue the pieces with something like Gorilla glue it will come apart in just a little wind. Crimps in the connector sleeves are only 3/4" from the end and the rods will not go past the crimps so you cannot get the rods deep enough for it to hold together.

Windsock pole
Works great. I mounted it to the top of a 12' pole on my dock.

Get some glue.
I like it very much, especially not getting fiberglass splinters in my fingers from handling it. However, I did have to glue the parts together where they connect because it kept falling on the ground.

Perfect
Really happy with these. On occasion, we have pretty high winds in the stand up to the pressure applied to them

design change dramatically improved pole
I have used several of these poles to fly a Premier Kites 22542 Wind Garden Spinsock60” windsock from the dock of my Florida home located on Choctawhatchee Bay, where there is certainly no shortage of wind!A recent manufacturing design change means these poles have been dramatically improved, with the fiberglass pole have the addition of joining pieces made from metal. (Previously the joining pieces were made of plastic. As a result the pole did not stand up to strong wind, which resulted in me losing a few pole parts and windsocks that I imagine are now at a beach-side residence in Cuba or Puerto Rico...)I’ve take one further step to making the bands even stronger by using a five minute epoxy to bond the two fiberglass pole connections together. This has worked well to this juncture, and I can report the pole has held firm even in very strong winds.I wish the manufacturers would make this pole twice as thick and twice as long. I for one would be willing to pay more for both the pole and any increased postage or delivery costs.Note:May 10, 2016 - I just changed to the “In the Breeze 3-Section Heavy Duty Pole, 10-Feet” only using 80”of it but very nice ½ inch diameter.

HELP! How to get the poles in the Holes
How do you put it together? Dare I pound the fiberglass poles into the holes? Would that not shatter the fiberglass? NO directions provided.OK, I did pound them in using a rubber hammer. They went in easy with that and no damage. I am testing it out now with the shortest wind sock I could buy and it seems to be doing quite well in all regards so far.

With a different bracket, it would have been perfect.
The bracket it comes with is designed to hold the pole at a 45 degree angle.I wanted to mount mine at the top of a fence post - pointing straight up.The bracket does not allow this and I had to design my own.It really should have a bracket allowing this orientation.

Weak
Very weak swivel arm. Just a breeze is enough to destroy it

Good product. Came as advertised
Good product. Came as advertised. The swiveling part was quite hard to fit on the fiberglass pole, but once in, it won't get out which is the purpose of the contraption. Overall very satisfied.

Missing Part
The 7-Inch swiveling arm was missing from this order. Useless without it.
