With all of the hairdressers and barbers shut, I needed to trim my mop. I didn’t especially go for the Manchester United clippers as a fan of the team, it was purely that these had the required number of combs and that it had come in stock.I like the option of using this either corded or cordless. Just means that if it takes a bit longer to cut your hair and it runs out of battery you can plug it in. Although it does say in the manual that using it connected can cause battery life problems.I found the clippers easy to use. No.8 on top and grade 4 on the back and sides. I used a 6 in the sides first to help blend it in between the 8 and the 4.I did need to wash my hair part way through just to see what was left.I don’t think these can be anywhere near as sharp as the pro versions the barbers use, I had to go over the same bits several times. My hair is quite thick though.Probably a bit more expensive than it should be, but you are paying extra for the Manchester United branding. However only really another 7 cuts to have paid for itself. Tbh the end result was good and I’m more than happy to keep doing my own after lockdown.You will need the help of someone to trim the back and around the ears.

This comes in a nice presentation box with the Manchester United crest on. The box contains a Manchester United face towel and the hair clippers with the Manchester United badge on it. It comes with a storage pouch. The clippers have a retro look about them and look and feel like quality. They look well made. Plenty of attachments for various hair lengths which are easy to fit to the clippers and remove. I like the fact that it rechargeable as that means it can be used without getting tangled in the electric chord. The battery will last a few good hair cuts depending of course on how long each hair cut takes In my case, it will last a long time as I don't have much hair to cut (and not because of the football!) ! It is easy to use. It cuts well. It is made by Remington whose products I have used in the past and they work and last well. I would expect this to last a long time (as would the Manufacturer as they give a 5 year warranty!). A great gift for a Manchester United fan. A very good pair of hair clippers.

First impressions in the box are positive and this is an attractively presented item, housed in a good presentation box with magnetic-closure. Whilst the clippers do look robust, there’s a lot of plastic and less metal than it initially appeared and so, although they feel built to last, they are quite the top-notch product first appearances suggested.The pack contains the clippers (with a 3-pin UK plug), several different comb attachments, a small pouch and instruction leaflet. The comb guides cover the range 1.5mm to 25mm, so will suit most needs.Pros:I found the clippers were comfortable to hold; a good size, contour and weight in my hand, with a non-slip finish.The cord is sufficiently long that it can also be used whilst plugged in but once charged it can be used cordless for up to an hour, providing the freedom to use it in front of a bathroom mirror or for cutting hair where a power socket is not handy.Easy to clean under a running tap.It feels of robust construction, despite being mostly plastic.The instructions for use, for the uninitiated, are reasonably detailed.An impressive 5-year guarantee.Cons:It takes 4 hours to fully charge the clippers for cordless use.No storage case is included, just a pouch, although the box is reasonably sturdy and is viable for storage.Overall, I found the clippers easy to use once I had a practise run (or three)... I suppose it is better to select a longer length than you think you want to start with so that subsequent tweaking is possible rather than go straight for the shorter length and leaving your victim (sorry, subject) without any hair!Manchester United branding is present on both clippers and towel, as well as the outer box, so a reasonable gift for a fan of the team.

Item came with no power plug, also the return process was very difficult from the US. I ended up keeping it and just taking the loss.
