Overpriced for a Small Plastic Bottle, but Well-Designed + Easy to Use
Works as intended making it very simple and clean to load fountain pens (which use a converter) full to capacity with bottled ink. Portable, low profile. Holds 10mL max ink. Highly recommended (just wish there wasn’t such a huge mark-up.)

Best accessory for fountain pens ever!
I didn't even know such a thing was available until recently. Once I saw a video on YouTube, I knew I had to have one, and it did not disappoint. I would suggest you test with water first, just because you might discover you might make a mistake. It helped me not spill ink all over the kitchen counter when I did things out of order and it all came out when I pulled the pen out at the wrong time. Not sure how I even thought that was the thing to do. But if you're looking for an efficient way to ink up your pens, whether they are cartridge converter or some internal filling mechanicsm. this is it. You might want to get an ink syringe to pull ink out of the bottle and into the reservoir. Makes it much easier to fill it right, and to put the surplus ink back into the bottle without spilling. Bottom ine, get it. You will not regret this purchase!

Ink pot works for me!
Fast shipping and complete in original box. These works very well with most of my pens. No leaks, but I have another and know how they work. As some reviews note, the body seems like a cheaper plastic amd overall not as elegant as other traveling ink pots, but it is sturdy enough and my original has lasted many years; including the cap that tightens around the pen body with zero issues! Easy to use and price is fine in my opinion.

Works well... for some pens
This won't work for all pens. You definitely need to check the size of your grip section. There are two holes in the side of the box, the section needs to be bigger than the small one and smaller than the big one. Even then, you should practice with water or in a place where you don't mind dumping a bunch of ink. For me, that means I can't use it as described for my Parker Jotter fountain pens. It worked fine with my PIlot Metropolitan and one of my Cross pens. I have another larger grip pen that supposedly fits, but isn't incredibly secure. Will use this one over the sink. The stopper is very secure, but I don't know if I would carry it on an airplane without putting it in a ziplock. The stopper has a small compartment. I put a rolled up strip of paper towel in there that could be used to wipe off a nib and grip section after inking in a pinch, but I would plan to have a tissue or paper towel on hand for that purpose. A word of warning, follow the directions. If at all possible, (like with a screw or slide feed), empty the pen before putting it into and tightening up the inkwell. Otherwise, you will pressurize the inkwell with the air you expel. Did you ever play with bottle rockets as a kid? Imagine filling one with ink! If this isn't possible, play particular caution and hold the pen and the inkwell together while filling. Definitely practice that one! (perhaps with a lobster bib over the sink! - not in a white top that you care about. Having said that, for a pen that fits well, it can allow you to carry ink and reink a pen, especially one without a converter, almost anywhere. A bonus for converter pens is that it also primes the pen. That doesn't happen if you don't fill the converter through the nib. It comes with an eyedropper/pipette that will allow you to fill the inkwell from a bottle, if you don't have an ink syringe. A thoughtful addition.

Purchased to fill my plunger-style fountain pen
This inkwell is perfect for fountain pens that have large ink chambers using vacuum or plunger style mechanisms. I was able to fill my pen with no mess, much easier than filling directly from the bottle. I don't plan to travel with this inkwell as my pen can write for a month on a fill, but it is designed for travel. The top seals securely so I wouldn't be concerned. I will purchase another for my next pen (a Pilot vacuum-filler model).

Easy, clean, and convenient
This inkwell works brilliantly with the Homo Sapiens Bronze Age. Clean and easy to use; much better than filling from the bottle. A bit pricey perhaps, but I have already gotten my money's worth.

An excellent tool for those who write and travel
It is an excellent vial. It stores plenty of ink, fills your pens generously and has not sprung any leaks. Even when I am home I use this item, because it’s so easy and clean.

The ink well is amazing! It carries the perfect amount for travel but seals the ink perfectly with light having to worry about spills or leaks. I have had some ink inside the well for over 6 months and no sign of it drying!

I have three of these now. You can put them in a pencil case, and the rubber stopper doesn't leak. My Pilot desk pens fit well, even when inverted!. Love these, and less ink cleanup after a quick change.

It’s a very useful tool to fill pens without mess and fuller than drawing the ink directly from the bottle. Recommended!
