A smile on your face.. but how long....
I must say I agree with the other commentor, P. Winthrop, who posted on April 17, 2012, this is a nice workstation and you do get much for your money, and yes I think you may be very pleased with buying this one, unless you will be as unlucky as me...I bought mine in january 2011, I travel much and I only got to play the keyboard in periods when I was not away ( I just say this cause I have been told that sometimes this can cause the keyboard to die quicker... it was never like this in the '90s when I started playing Korg.. ).One day in november 2012 I clicked the On button, and to my shock, there was just a white light on the display. The 1 year warranty had expired, so the shop charged me 351 euros to fix it, it was the PCM ( motherboard ) that had gone dead, the shop could not give me any good explanation how this could have happened.. Anyways, they replaced the PCM and told me it has a warranty for 4 months.. ( high expectations they give eh..) My M 50 is working again now, and I just hope it won't go dead again, if so I will look for another Korg, made in Japan, not China.I have kept the M 50 on a table in my home "studio" all the time, never even took it out of the house, no strange connections or nothing strange done with it, always had it covered with a cloth to prevent dust or dirt from entering, what more can you do.. still, the PCM just died.I guess I was just unlucky or so with mine, but still.. I had 2 Korg workstations earlier ( M 1 and N 364 ) I travelled with them brought them to concerts, you name it, and had zero problems, but with this one, it just went dead one day, like lightning from a clear sky.. I hope you won't experience the same as me..Besides all the complaints, if you are lucky and don't experience what I did, this is a nice keyboard, just a shame it seems to be not 100% trustworthy..If you check Korg Forums [...] you will see that the M 50 has indeed caused problems to some people, maybe take a look before you decide to buy..

bargain
If your budget is up to £1500 do not look any further than this beauty from Korg, just buy it and save the other £700... you will not regret. A guitar is my main instrument but the M50 is so easy to navigate and very intuitive. Very impressive and easy to control programmes, 16 track sequencer, immense soundscapes with combi mode.. it almost plays itself !!A monster of a synth/keyboard/workstation that is guaranteed to put a smile on your face and love in your ears.
