Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles - The Complete First & Second Season

It is a really good storyline it fills in a lot of the blanks from the six Terminator movies and it has tons of action tons of drama this is one of the best series I have ever bought if you like Terminator or Star Trek or other side fives you will like this series it is actually better than the movies excellent well worth the money definitely definitely I would recommend it in fact I have Already told a ton of people to buy it it is great

Was tempted to buy both seasons individually until I came across this region free import. Looks to be the same Warner Brothers discs as released here in the states (even with the terrible Dolby Digital soundtrack) with special features and all. This is one cool show (its no Firefly) that was canned before its time. Lots of action (chicks kicking ass is always cool) with Lena Headey (300, Dredd) and the beautiful Summer Glau (Firefly, Serenity) as the female leads that I am glad they picked these two to play these roles. Once again, too bad it didn't last. Fox was tough on this show and not giving it time (like 24) to build its audience (before this, Fox canned Firefly even faster!).Even for a show that was short lived Warner has really put together a very nice blu ray package full of good special features.The video looks much better in 1080p (instead of the old 720p Fox broadcasts in) and the 5.1 surround sound is disappointing. It is the old Dolby Digital from the early DVD years (not sure of the bit rate) but I am sure an awesome action/sci-fi show like this would sound really agressive in a lossless soundtrack (DTS-HD or Dolby Tru HD). But as is, its better than 2.0 channel (but you have to crank it up to benefit from the surround sound).This UK set is an amazing find if you want both seasons packages together (each season comes in two separate slip cases that slide into an outside box) and willing to spend a few dollars more than buying individually.I am glad I did, so I don't have to search for the seasons when they are already together in one package.

This region-free collection of season 1 and 2 actually comes out (at the time of this writing) to be a few bucks more expensive than buying the individual seasons, but I love the artwork on this box set so much that it was worth it to me. This show had so much potential - like Joss Whedon's Dollhouse that ran at the same time - but was unfortunately cancelled before it got much footing (also like Dollhouse). There are many reviews available for the show itself - this is just for the box set. The "box" is a simple and fairly cheap-feeling cardboard, but is highly glossy and the metallic print on it has a very cool look. The artwork is much better, in my opinion, but that's entirely personal. The quality of the video is outstanding, as you'd expect for a modern television show printed on blu.And, most importantly, these discs are region-free, meaning they will work FINE on a US blu ray player or PS3.This set it definitely worth buying if you're the type to prefer a nice, matching box set for television shows.

Season One - Excellent but not enough episodes. Great stories, great pacing - 5 starsSeason Two - Like watching a completely different series. Pacing was slow and sometimes lifeless. They added 2 annoying characters which brought most the stories down - 3 stars.

Always was interested in seeing this and glad to have seen it. First season great. Second season I thought not as good. Got left on a cliff hanger at the end as no 3rd season. Bummer.

In Blu-ray it delivered this title in Terminator form, for me.Summer Glau was excellent as the machine. For me too, this was Lena Headey's best or most natural performance. I think she excelled on the energy of the series. The whole cast though, put in a good performance.Terminator - The Sarah Connor Chronicles (T: TSCC), was a great inclusion in the Terminator series. It should not have stopped after series 2. Although, it was extremely well wrapped up in the last episode.I think T: TSCC's only criticism, could be that in the second series it appeared to go off tangent. There was investigation into what appeared to be UFOs. (I have in fact seen the series take criticism for that. People saying that the series lost the plot so they stopped watching. That bringing in UFOs was too far off the right track.) However if they had continued watching, they would have seen what it was about. It was resolved very neatly.T: TSCC started so strong for me. It never really let go, and I don't understand the loss of interest in it. There were moments when it appeared to meander, or go off track. However it all added up.Finally, I think T: TSCC suffered from people wanting Terminator 2 every episode. I think that's why it lost some of its appeal. I think people want to much though, and no-one can make T2 every episode. Otherwise every last one of us, would have watched the 'T2 every episode' series. ........ T: TSCC - however is a strong Terminator franchise entry. I am upset there will not be anymore, but it did wrap up exceptionally well. Meaning I feel lucky we got T: TSCC.I would recommend buy the Blu-ray version too, because it looked great to me in that format. Maybe it's not as strong in SD, as it is in HD. Isn't all TV material like that though.

Had watched this series many years ago and had enjoyed the serialisation on DVD. Was looking to catch up on the blu-ray to complement my other Terminator collection. Decided on the combined series 1/2 version. All good with delivery etc.,However, when play started, it gave the usual FBI warning then, jumped straight into what should have been the Pilot episode? With no menu item to choose from, this appeared to be a composition of all the three episodes. As not into binge watching returned the item. Amazon return smooth and painless.

What an amazing show with everything about it hitting the right notes. The actors chosen to portray the characters, the writing and the directing are all spot on. For two seasons we, as Terminator fans, were finally given what T3, Terminator Salvation (a decent action movie) and the drivel that was Genisys failed miserably to deliver. Astounding that they decided to cancel it whilst other shows that have clearly 'jumped the shark' are still being pushed.
