Excellent gift idea
Bought this for my autistic nephew who loves to build. He will be over the moon on Xmas day. Great quality. Plenty of build options. Unbeatable value for money.

Great for curious minds, a fun set, for creative little minds. My grandson after some instruction has really mastered, how it all works, and still has more to build.

An excellent k’nex kit

Gift for 4 year old grandson.....
Grandson had asked for more Knex for his 4th birthday and specifically the kit where he could build a helicopter. Checked the age recommendations and decided the more expensive electrified kit was not suitable..... Unfortunately it seems I got my choice wrong.... he was rather disappointed that I'd bought the wrong one lol.... (he was still extremely happy to get his beloved Knex anyway.) But as the motorised kit was aged as suitable for 12years+ I thought it would be too complicated...... ( I underestimated my 4 year old grandsons technical skill). The helicopter model wasn't featured in this kit, you have to go online to obtain the plans.... I didn't have the facility at the time to print off those plans, so my grandson built it from the photos I showed him....... As an addendum, he did actually get the motorised helicopter kit as a birthday present from his other grandmother.... so he was a very happy little chappy all round..... He is Knex potty, he makes and builds all kinds of contraptions, for 4 years old he is pretty amazing. I've attached a video of the Father's day present he made for his dad who's lawn mower had packed up... he made him a new lawn mower with a combination of his Knex kits.

Would recommend
A really lovely top set at a reasonable price. Bought for my son as recommended when I searched ‘gifts for 5 year olds’ and it was the right level of challenge. You can only build one of the projects at a time, so have to break things up to do the next which can be annoying. But great for a rainy day and has lots of play value. Would recommend.

You have to be human to out the parts together or pull them apart. My child has no chance.
