Velo Orange Klunker Commuter Urban Bicycle Handlebar Black 25.4mm

I don't know what took me so long to try these. It's a joy to ride my MTB again, I'm never going to race down a mountain in competition, so I bought these mainly because of the natural hand position but was pleasantly surprised how it felt to be able to sit up and look at my surroundings more. I climb better too. would recommend enthusiastically to anyone. If I go hit the chairlift run at Angel Fire New Mexico I'll put the straight flat bars on. I didn't have to buy new cables. put he brakes and shifters on the new bar before you attach it.

Great set of handlebars. Very anxious to outfit this with phone mount and handlebar bag.

I put them on an old mountain bike with a tall riser stem. The bars sit higher than the saddle, and it’s the most comfortable riding position I’ve ever experienced. My only disappointment is not buying them earlier.

Nice rise and the backsweep makes for a comfortable ride. They look great too.

I wanted handlebars that were more comfortable than my stock, nearly straight, mountain bike handlebars. I knew that in order to feel more comfortable riding every day several miles, I needed my bars to come up and back. These do the job. Also note that simultaneously I bought a stem extender (FOMTOR Bike Stem Riser MTB) and a shorter stem (Azarxis 31.8mm Stem 40mm). I may still need to come up higher, so I'm thinking about buying a taller extender. I'm 5'10" and have a GT Aggressor (large). I had done some searching and these seemed to be the best shaped bars for me. I am happy with my purchase.

I purchased this handlebar to replace a straight one on my ebike. Width of the bar is 27 inches versus 25 for the straight one. Love the 45 degree sweep on the bars. More comfortable for people with arthritic hands and wrists.
