Very well designed and easy to assemble. High quality of materials. Instructions easy to follow.
Quality Quality Quality! After unpacking the pieces, I thought the assembly would be a challenge but it was not! Each side is numbered and the base has matching numbers. All you need to do is match the sides with the base. The sides have screws already in place so all you need to do is place the sides and drive the screws in! All pieces fit perfectly! The pieces without screws in place had pre-drilled holes. It took me less than 20 min to assemble. The insulation is caulked into place. Would recommend this to anyone wanting high quality outdoor cat shelter. We lined the bottom with straw and the cat settled in after about an hour!It would be too small for a very large dog but perfect for any cat or small dog.

If I can put this together, you can!
Quite small... but for a smaller cat, the size is perfect. The opening door is quite small, but cats can generally slip into small spaces. And you want a small door to keep out the cold. I have a racoon roaming around the area that tried to get in but could not. Oh, and this was so easy to put together, even for me. The screws were already in place, each section was clearly labeled, and the accompanying video made this easy. The only complaint I have is that it took so long to arrive. Processing time took a while, I suppose. But when it arrived, I was able to throw it together in about fifteen minutes. Excellent product.

Rescued pair luv new home
Love this cathouse. The materials are excellent and it was easy to assemble. I bought this house for my daughter who adopted two cats whose owner had passed away. Babe and Oscar are 15 & 18 years old and they love their new home. They sit on the porch during the day then curl up in their new house at night. It's just the right size for 2.

Better than canvas cat houses, easy to assemble
Arrived faster than originally projected. Sturdier than the canvas-type cat houses that we tried before. Good workmanship, easy to assemble. The walls were thinner than I expected for the price, consisting only of the outer 1/4 inch thick shingles and thin reflective insulation. But it seems to be OK for my outdoor cat who has a heated bed to use. I added legs to raise it off the ground so it wouldn't be sitting in moisture. I also coated the raw wood with deck stain and waterproofing to protect the wood over time.

Awesome kitty house!!
Awesome cat house! Really sturdy and well built (and cute!). The insulation will help keep kitty warm this winter. It's a lot better than the igloo we've been using. We are very pleased. Highly recommend!

Used and sprayed on
Clearly used and left outside in the rain. Don't tell me that cedar is natural and each plank is different. The roof was clearly exposed to rain for some time (see pic). The roof boards are dark, soft and spongy.Pet urine was all around the inside. Smells horrible.Dead bugs, debris, etc all around the inside of the shipping box (see pic)No hardware/screws at all.Did I mention some animal had sprayed heavily on all four walls?

Great Product
This item was very easy to put together. The product details as advertised, are true. One of my cats, Dennis, who occasionally gets stranded outside, immediately took to it. I'm thinking of ordering another one. It is located inside a covered structure now, so I don't know how well it would do outside in all the rain we get in the Pacific NW – maybe additional roofing protection would be wise.-Merrilyn Hyland – Bellevue, WA

The cat uses it!
Well, my feral kitty uses it, so that's a step up from previous cat houses I've attempted to get for her. The large almost seems too *small* for her. If her sibling was still around, it definitely wouldn't have fit both of them. I had to add some wood on the bottom to keep it from getting too wet just sitting on the ground. I *really* wish it had an extended overhang like the feeding station and raised houses. Depending on the direction the rain comes from, it can easily get right in the doorway (and my cat refuses to use any "doors" like vinyl flaps). She's too old to jump up onto the raised houses this seller offers, so I'm making do with what I have.
