THE EASY ONE,
I got this to vent a portable a/c that's not gonna be portable. The biggest job was punching a 6" hole in concrete. Once I got through that, this exhaust vent was installed in 15 minutes, ready to go. I picked this style of vent because I believe it gives less resistance to the air that is exiting through it. The size was perfect. The a/c vent slid smoothly over it, a snug, but not tight, fit. It's made from plastic, pretty thin but the design still makes it pretty sturdy. The price point was good and the it's functioned flawlessly. I recommend this derwwtet2

What I needed
Does not restrict airflow and keeps creepy crawlies from making their way into my home while appliance is not in use. The slats lift very easily with the pressure from my portable AC exhaust. Simple to install, fits perfectly, high quality product.

Good for the Price This 6 inch louvered vent hood does the job and is a good value for the price It’s lightweight and easy to install The fit was just right for my setup and the white finish looks clean and simple Not the highest quality material but it works well for basic ventilation needs

Flimsy piece of garbage
There no duct pipe. Instead there is a folded dented up piece of super thin aluminum that YOU are supposed to somehow bend into a pipe. It will never be right - the aluminum is already creased, bent, and dented. Super fragile plastic too. Broke in the first few minutes of normal handling during installation.

Cheap, but works - for now
Honestly if this lasts three years on the exterior of my home it'll be worth it. At five years I'll update and apologize for ever doubting the sturdiness of this device. Gotta say: anyone producing mixed-metal-and-plastic contraptions could *easily* out-do this thin and weak setup with a high-quality part, charge twice as much - and make 3x the profit margin. Could more or less guarantee this product *all-in* costs about $4 to make per unit. It's that cheap. But it works. For how long it the question...
