worth the cost
Basics: * I got this (8x21 folding pocket binocs) on sale for $11.55 (no other promo). * Product works as expected. Application: * Working on video projectors (reading the menus and doing focusing) in large event venues (1000+ seats) to hit screens that are almost too small. Meh: * Carry case has a belt loop mount, which I need for work, but it does not look very strong. Not sure what I will do when this loop breaks (its days are numbered). * Narrow field of view. Weird: All the labeling (product itself, box, manual, etc.) says, "SkyGenius", not "BriGenius". Only paid 12 bucks, so I guess I am obligated to give this product 5 stars due to "value" (functionality vs cost).

Used at the theatre
I took my daughter to see Phantom of the Opera. I had gotten her a different pair of binoculars, but had forgotten to get ones for me. I ordered these at the last minute. They arrived on time & I love how compact they are. I was really thankful that I got these. They were SO much better than the ones I’d gotten for my daughter! Once she saw how good these were, I lost them & ended up with the crappy ones. I wish I’d bought 2 of these instead of one of the other pair. Lesson learned. We were in the Rear Mezzanine & the focus on these binoculars made it so that the actors faces were clear & we could see their facial expressions.

Adequate for most uses.
These binoculars are pretty much what I expected for the price. at $25 (w/coupon savings). The optics are clear and the bifocal adjustment works fine. The center focus wheel isn't smooth in its rotation and feels "bumpy" when rotated. Other that that these are acceptable for my backyard bird watching. Again, at $25 I'm not worried if I drop them or forget to bring them in at night. My Nikon's are much higher in quality and are waterproof but at 5x the price I don't like to treat them like a "disposable" pair.

Great product and great value!
Great small compact binoculars and at just under $13 an amazing value. The only recommendation I would make to the manufacturer is to have small "how to use" slip in the packaging for dummies like me. I went to a baseball game and couldn't figure out the focus dial was in the middle. Still a 5 star for quality and value.

Small and compact
Good size to throw in your jacket pocket and take a walk. Still learning how to adjust focus to capture the wildlife in and around my neighborhood.
