Not quite what I expected
The body of the car seems longer than normal & the engine is tiny it's much thinner, elongated than a typical 1/24 - 1/25 kit . And the plastic is reminiscent of a much older kit , it's kinda brittle but some what flexable it's like they mixed the old & new plastic's together . Overall it a very fine kit with crisp lines excellent fitting parts but the tire's seem to be wrong for the size of the car. And the crazy optional roof looks good but looks like it was stolen off a pirranah kit , it is weird , Over all it looks like a shrunk down MG combined with a Viper, the metal velocity stacks are a nice touch though, I'm saving mine for another kit, it's a really good kit especially for the extra parts. Funky '60's designs,, but a really kool kit I'll enjoy. š

A Detailed and Fun Build for Car Enthusiasts!
The AMT 1:25 Scale 1967 Shelby GT-350 Model Kit is an impressive replica of an iconic car, offering a rewarding experience for model builders. From the moment I opened the box, I was excited by the level of detail in the parts and the potential to create something truly eye-catching.The kit includes a good variety of pieces, allowing for a fairly customizable build. The bodywork is beautifully molded, with clean lines and accurate proportions that capture the essence of the Shelby GT-350. The engine and interior details are equally commendable, making the finished product look fantastic on display.Assembly was mostly smooth, though a few pieces required some careful sanding and adjustment to fit perfectly. The instructions are clear, but beginners might find some steps a bit challenging, especially when dealing with the smaller, intricate components. One highlight is the decals, which are sharp and vibrant, adding an authentic touch to the finished model. The chrome parts are well done, though they require careful handling to avoid fingerprints or scratches during assembly. The only reason Iām giving this kit 4 stars instead of 5 is that some parts were slightly warped in the packaging, requiring extra effort to straighten. Additionally, the plastic is a bit brittle in spots, so caution is needed to avoid accidental breaks.Overall, this model kit is a fantastic choice for intermediate to advanced builders who appreciate classic cars. The end result is a stunning replica that pays homage to a legendary vehicle. Iād recommend it to any car enthusiast or model hobbyist looking for their next project!

Fun model kit. Easy assembly. A lot of trimming on the parts but other than that no issues.

Old tooling, poor quality
This kit is far inferior to other AMT models I've built recently. There are injector pin marks all over, including four prominent ones in the interior Rob that are particularly difficult to remove. Molding artifacts on the underside of the body interfere with the fit of the firewall.I have been building plastic models for almost 50 years, but I don't remember ever seeing so much flash on a kit. It's everywhere--hood hinges, engine parts, front spindles, exhaust, body panels, inner and out wheels, exhaust, rear end, seats...if I recall correctly, the driveshaft was clean. Flash alongside pins and inside locator holes makes it necessary to do a LOT of prep work before assembly.I had a few fitment issues, too. The hood hinges (2 j-hooks, actually) are pass through corresponding openings in the firewall (they do) and the interior tub (they don't). Center console rests on the driveshaft hump, but there are no pins or holes to help with location. Inner wheels are too small in diameter to hold the tires properly, so the tires end up popping off the rims.I hope this is a fluke.
