Lilac Scented Bar Hand Soap, Pack of 3 Individual Bars, Cape Shore

This has the most wonderful lilac scent! It takes me back to Michigan and all the lilac bushes I remember there. I really love using it and I can smell it in the house a bit and especially when I get into the bathroom. It also smells nice in my drawer.I don't think it's a true lavender oil. It's probably a synthetic scent, but they did a very good job with it! It doesn't say lavender oil on the wrapper or on the description on Amazon. I was pretty amazed when I read that it just said fragrance on the label.I'm sure I'll buy this again. It's also moisturizing and sudses very well. 🙂 I also think it will last a while, it doesn't seem like a really soft soap.

I purchased this same soap in Mackinaw island, it has a lasting scent, to put in bathrooms and also I put one in my closet, smells light and nice

I originally bought this lilac soap while vacationing in Mackinac Island! It smells just like lilacs! When I saw it on Amazon I had to buy more! I haven't used it yet, but I keep an unopened bar on a shelf in my bathroom and I smell it everyday. I also love that it's made in the USA! I plan on buying more for gifts . Every time I smell it, it makes me think of my wonderful vacation on Mackinac Island! If you love the smell of lilacs buy this soap !

These soaps do have a nice lilac scent. It’s very strong while using but it’s gone by the time you towel off. That’s actually good IMO because I wouldn’t want to smell like this all day. It’s a pleasant treat while showering though. Lathers well and rinses clean. The bars are smaller than even what’s shown in photos here. I debated between buying three of these or 1 Caswell Massey for about the same price. At least if you don’t like these you have two to give away or put in other bathrooms by the sink. I have an extra star because they’re made in USA. If you are on the fence about spending this much for three soaps I’d give it a pass. Buy something else. If you’ve got money to burn, go for it.

Smells so good.. very good quality

This is not a hard soap, so a bar is not going to last as long as a hard milled bar soap. In my soft well water, it makes tons of suds, but I have no idea how it will perform in hard city water. Its fragrance is true, and one of my favorites, but it isn't over-powering. I' usually use a Crab Tree and Evelyn soap called Nantucket Briar, and it's fragrance is stronger, lingering on the skin for hours. This is much lighter, and since it doesn't linger as long, I can go outdoors and not be attacked by gnats! The packaging is very attractive and the presentation does make a nice housewarming, birthday, or Mothers Day gift. I think mainly women would like this; can't imagine a man wanting to use it! Will be repurchasing!

Scent too faint. No lather.

Thaes soaps have the most divinely fragrant lilac scents that I’ve ever known. They serve as aromatherapy in my bathroom as well as used in the shower and by the sink for hand soap. . I typically purchase these bars every summer on my trip to Vermont. I use them all the time. But I ran out of them early! Something so old fashioned and timeless about them reminds me of the sweet scent of lilacs on the countryside and of a simpler time. The fragrance lasts as long as the bar does and makes my bathroom deliciously fragrant and I love it as hand soap and body soap too.
