...and I mean that literally, haha. My hubs recently purchased a Big Green Egg, and he needed better protection for his hands while grilling. He has trouble finding gloves that fit comfortably, but these are nice and roomy, and heat-resistant all around. No burns on hands or wrists so far, even with metal skewers. I've used them for the oven as well, and they're great. No risk of rack burns on the wrists if I've got these on, and the silicone on the gloves do not stick to hot pans or glass dishes.

I roast meats at 500 in my oven and I love to Bar-B-Que! These gloves are long enough, finally, to prevent my burning my arms while reaching in the oven and I can turn whatever I'm cooking on the grill without feeling any heat let alone burn. These are VERY good.

So far they are working well. They let me hold hot stuff out of a 450F oven without burning my hands, they cover the wrists, and they grip well. Had them about 2 weeks so far.

Gloves are too tight, hard to put on Arthritic hands and wrist. When I opened the package it had a M label affixed to it.

Totally fine for quick in the oven/out of the oven. But for anything that requires you to hold on to, say, hot cast iron for any amount of time, they don’t do the job.

Likes: I received it the the very next day. It does what it claims it does. I like that it comes down your arm a bit so you don't burn your wrist.

I bought these for my brother who cooks out all the time using a charcoal grill! He loves them!

These gloves WILL NOT protect for the temperatures that are listed. You can't hold a pan out of the oven for more than 5 seconds.
