## Description

Replacement fan controller for fireplace blower kit applications. Allows for full range RPM setting of the blower and includes an ON/OFF position. This type of rheostat is used in several of our blower kits and is typically mounted below the fireplace using the included double-side tape.

Review: Smooth increase/decrease in motor speeds. - Hooked the variable rheostat (speed controller) up to 1 blower unit out of two. This was temporary, as I will soon be rewiring to operate both blowers off of only one speed controller and only one 115v power cord. The rheostat operated smoothly, with a very smooth increase in motor speed as the dial was slowly turned. No heat issues that I've noticed so far and it's a very simple process to just wire it in to the black power lead (hot lead) anywhere between the power cord and the black motor wire(s). The rheostat control also makes a nice 'click/detent' when turned full counter-clockwise and into the 'Off' position.

A: You have to know the voltage to get amps.
It is marked as 300 watts max, which is about 2.72 amps @ 110 volts.
I am using it with a 50 watt motor,  works fine

**Q: Will this work on my ceiling fan that has a rheostat mounted to the fan?**
A: yes, it will work

**Q: How long is the control shaft that knob attaches to?**
A: Hi, the distance is .5” to the base. This includes the threaded fastening support ring. The knob is a slip-on.
