The feet of the chair were loose. After I bought these braces, the chair restored its solid state. The braces were fitted with screws. The installation was very simple.

seem quite adequate for intended purpose
I used several of them as bracing for a tall cabinet. I used longer screws and some wood blocks to providenecessary clearance but once assembled I do not expect any problems with them remaining where I mountedthem.
