Drywall Texture Pattern Roller for Decorative Paint Texturing (Bear Claw Pattern)

It's critical with this roller to get the right amount of mud on what I found to work best is to prime the smooth wall first, then apply a little mud. Quite runny and then smooth it out with a knockdown knife. After that when you roll it, it does a very nice job!!!

Good product. Took a little bit to get the desired effect we were looking for. A bit pricey though.

The media could not be loaded. It took me about 1/4 of the ceiling to get the hang of how much texture to roll on for the best effect. This is the final effect, then I went back and redid the first quarter. Keep a bucket of water nearby. I needed to rinse the grooves of the roller after four 2x4 passes. The roller is durable and is ready to be used again when I remove the popcorn ceiling from the rest of the house. The texture and this pattern hides the many imperfections in my ceiling well. Definitely worth it!

We had a door framed in and needed to get the wall texture to match the current texture. This was going to cost me extra so I decided to do something different. Got this roller and some other supplies and granted the texture is not like the knockdown I have I'm not dissatisfied at all. I have no experience in this but I think it turned out well. You can't see then pattern that but thats user error.

I wish I had known about this texture roller many projects ago. So easy and satisfying! The pattern is interesting and different and was way easier and faster than using a hopper gun. I'm really happy with it and already planning which roller to use for the next room.

After some practice and some youtube videos, I was able to get the design I wanted. It's not hard to use but the consistency of your plaster play a big role in the success of your texture.

This roller did not work at all. First it wouldn't roll and smeared. After I got it to roll it worked for about 4 foot of ceiling. At that point the indents were full of spackle/plaster and it stopped making the pattern. I tried to make the texture thinner, stil didn't work. I had plaster on half my ceiling and had to stomp with a rag or completely scrap the ceiling again. Very disappointed.

We have used this for several walls and it is very durable. The texture is pretty rough but you can modify it easily.
