A good friend told me about this excellent bakery in San Diego, Le Parfait. Since I am on the East Coast, visiting it is not exactly easy - so when I found out you could buy their macarons on Amazon, I jumped at the chance, and they did not disappoint! They arrived well packed in a cute little cooler bag with an ice pack. The bag will be great to reuse as a lunch bag. The macaroons themselves are amazing little melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness with just the right amount of creaminess in the center. So good! I'm delighted these are available on Amazon -- these will tide me over until I can get out to San Diego and try some more of their yummy confections.

I was expecting much better quality from the reviews and the “award winning” but I have traveled around a lot and tried many macarons and these were mushy and sub par. They weren’t bad but as far as macarons go I would Not order again

For my first time... It's definitely my last! First of all the cookies came sogy and easily crumble apart as seen in the pics. I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt by trying each one to see if I find any that actually taste good. Nope! All so gross and leave a horrible after tast. Some were mushier than the others. Especially the middle one! Not for mine nor any of my family's taste buds. We all dislike each one which is ashame and definitely not worth $40. Instantly thrown in the garbage!

My mother in law never tried macaron before, and as a French man I wanted her to have the best experience possible. Le Parfait is my favorite bakery and now their macarons are available for shipping which is amazing. It came in a pretty bag (that I will use as a lunch bag) and all looked great. She fell in love with them so thank you Le Parfait Paris!!!

It should be a crime to even call these macarons! They arrived melted and had zero flavor. DO NOT waste your money. I wish I had taken a photo - but after several very disappointing nibbles these went straight into the trash. I am so glad I bought them and trialed them before sending them as gifts. That would have been embarrassing!

Compare the picture I posted and the advertisement. These are TINY macarons. I have had the fortune of having Macarons in Paris at Hermes and these are too small. Very disappointed at this price (almost $3.50 each)So keep that in mind if you don’t want to dissapoint yourself or your friends. These are barely bite-size.UPDATE: flavor wasn’t great either. My friends didn’t want to finish them. PEOPLE FIGHT FOR MACARONS. Now they are cheap. TOTAL SCAM

They were excellent, though a little costly. Would order again. The bag they came in was a bonus. I've been using it as a lunch bag.

These are absolutely delicious. The only ones to buy if you want the true French macarons. From a true French bakery. Everything else will just be a lesser-quality imitation, like so many things made in the US. Perfect shipping, too. Will buy again and only these. Highly recommend.
