Two stars for the optic. None for the mount. Wrong dovetail wedge for a late model XD-40. Way over sized. Now im sitting here filing down about a 1/4 of the wedge E2. Planned on shooting this weekend. So im spending my time delicately filing steel and repeatedly trying to dry fit. Not happy. Update. After filing and finally getting the dovetail to fit, i have discovered these lame wads give you screws too long for the optic and they go clear through the mount plate and have marred the top of my slide. The optic wouldn't even seat because the screws are WAY too long, almost protruding 1/8" through the mount. Im now highly upset. Save your money, efforts and firearm finish. go with a professional company that actually knows what they are doing. Now i get to grind screws to a custom length. 1/4" is too long. 1/8" is too short. My LHS carries a section of GUN screws and they didnt even have an in-between size. Truly screwed on this one.

Sight is bright and easy to adjust. The little screws for the glass frame hold down broke tho after second mag ran threw. Second picture is after it fell 3 feet to the ground. Completely done for. Wouldn’t have thought it would crush that easily.

I love this green dot very light weight and easy to install. I’m extremely happy with the quality and price of this green dot
