My husband was constantly on blood pressure medicine with persistent leg swelling and all over not feeling good. But a friend told me about these and we decided to try them. So glad we did! These helped drop his blood pressure and decreased the leg swelling immensely. It is very effective, inexpensive, easy to use, and lasts a long time.

I am a studying herbalist and this stuff is amazing! Keeps me and my son healthy and I am ALWAYS recommending it. As an ounce of prevention, during cold/flu season we take it 2x per week (i.e. Sunday & Wednesday). My son’s sick days at school were almost zero and consequently mine too. If you catch something, use daily with other methods and herbs/meds to assist (Ridgecrest Herbals, Clear Lungs and Clear Sinus)…(Elderberry items and Emergen-C).

My hubby was skeptical, since EmergenCee (sp?) did nothing for us. But Defense Plus works GREAT!!! Since it's an adaptogen you shouldn't use it every day all the time or it will lose its effectiveness, so just use it for a week or 2 when needed. But if you're getting sick or your coworkers or kids are sick you will have a very good chance of *NOT* getting sick. (We also take it b4 and while we travel on planes.) My husband works a week per month on a boat in close quarters with other guys who are often sick. I'd say about 95% of the time he can avoid getting sick by taking Defense Plus once a day (NOTE: More is not better, just take once a day.) Honestly, many times, when we felt "that feeling" (where we knew we were getting sick) we took this and voila!!! We didn't get sick, it just went away. No lie! This is *not a solicited review,* I am just a HUGE fan of this stuff (have been for years) and its ingredients. No stomach upset or side effects. One problem: You have to **remember to take it** when others are sick. That's a habit you just have to develop. Really, try it, you will be amazed. (And no, I don't work for the company.)

I have been buying this Nutribiotic formula locally for quite some time now. But recently the place where I usually get it stopped carrying it, so I am happy to find that its available here on Amazon... I always have some in the house for when I feel something like a bad cold, flu, cough, or just feeling crappy may be coming on. And more importantly, I have even relied on it when I feel that I am genuinely fighting a true infection, like a sinus or chest infection. And all I can say is that in most cases it's been amazingly effective for me. I always hated the fact that the majority of visits I have made to my doctor or treatment center has been for some infection, knowing full well all it will take is an antibiotic to clear it up. Especially sinus infections that just about all of us have had in the past. No matter how many I seem to get, or how well he knows me now, my own doctor always insists on "seeing me" so he can continue to dine regularly on lobster and cracked crab. I admit that I was skeptical of this stuff at first considering that all antibiotics are only available through prescription. But I also figured that I really had nothing to lose. (You can always crawl back to your doctor and beg forgiveness.) Fortunately it wasn't long before I became a believer. I not only feel that I have in the past both cured and cleared up various infections, but just like when on prescription meds, whatever I have seems to start easing up and I start feeling better in just 48 hrs or so. And one thing that one should keep in mind with something natural like this is how you really can't build up a resistance to it as easily as a prescribed antibiotic. But with that being said, just like prescription meds, I strongly suggest that you only take this supplement on the onset of feeling something coming on, or shortly after feeling sick, and then for no more than 10 days after you start feeling better. I have abided by this rule and swear I have saved hundreds of dollars and valuable time not making my doctor richer... In conclusion, as much as I believe this is a very safe and effective product, I feel I should advise anyone considering this that certainly not is this natural formula a miracle drug, or something to be messed with if you are seriously ill with a virulent infection. If you have something like a very high fever or are vomiting blood, forget this stuff and get to your doctor fast. But in other cases where we are experiencing something very common to us or well known, I honestly believe this Nutrbiotic is very safe, effective, and well worth a try. It's proven itself to me several times over and I highly recommend it... : )

When I was first introduced to this product I was a skeptic. A HUGE skeptic. There are so many different remedies out there claiming to prevent colds, or help people get over them faster, and I have never once gotten even the slightest impression that they work. I still get the cold, and it's still miserable for a week to a week and a half. So I rolled my eyes when my sister-in-law dumped one of these in my hand and demanded I take it. I'd just gotten off a long flight, in the winter, after spending all day in the airport, and I had already resigned myself to the fact that I was going to come down sick in a few days. That first time, I chalked the fact that I ended up not getting sick to coincidence. The next five or so times I chalked it up to the same. Somewhere around the tenth time I finally became a believer. I take one pill anytime I have been exposed to highly public places, anytime I'm really tired and my immune system is lagging, and then I'm always very careful to get a really good night's sleep for at least one night, and I haven't been legitimately sick in years. Not even when my husband (who refuses to take them despite my best efforts) spreads his germs around our house for weeks on end when he's sick. I definitely recommend these as immune system boosters. They have done absolute wonders for me!!!

For the past couple of years I always felt slightly sick, almost as if my immune system just wasn't working. I was originally looking for an alternative for antibiotics for my skin, but then I stumbled on these pills. I like anything that's a natural approach to medicine and this had promising reviews. I take one or two a day, depending on how I feel- one in the morning, and one before I go to sleep. I DO feel better, and I didn't get sick at all after I started taking these. However, I have a really sensitive stomach, and I don't know, I think it doesn't sit too well with my stomach. Sometimes I feel super bloated after I take the pill but maybe it's because I take it on an empty stomach in the morning. And I've noticed that sometimes if I concentrate too much on the bloatness I feel like I'm gonna throw up. But it does what its supposed to. So four stars.

Very effective for the immune system

I've been researching natural and alternative methods to replace the chemical pharmaceuticals for over 40 years. About 25 years ago I came across Nutribiotic products. Nutribiotic Defenseplus tablets are positively the best sickness preventative I've ever used. I've taken these tablets or the concentrate and have not had a cold for decades and haven't had the flu either. I've tried other products (tablets, capsules, teas and herbs) whether popular or not and didn't find them to be useful for me. Additionally I've taken the Nutribiotic Defenseplus tablets or concentrate to relieve myself of gastric distress, food poisoning, diahrrea toothaches and infections with success every time. I take the Nutribiotic Defenseplus tablets or concentrate nearly every day in the winter and several times/weekly the rest of the year. I have not experienced any side effects from taking the tablets or the concentrate as often as I do. There are two bottle sizes for the tablets 45 tablets and 90 tablets. FYI, the concentrate is bitter. I take the concentrate with OJ or grapefruit juice which does reduce the bitterness.
