Autolite 1100 Carburetor Fits1964-1968 Ford Mustang Falcon 170 & 200 Cid In-line 6 cylinder engines manual or automatic transmission

This is a great replacement for an autolite 1100. When i did this replacement it initially leaked, but when i tracked down the leak and realized it was the threads between the filter and the carburetor it was an easy fix with a strip of teflon tape. I highly recommend this carburator. I also highly recommend replacing the auto choke with an electric version. An electric choke is way better than the exhaust gas tube version this carburator has on it. Also, all the adjustments work exactly as they should.

I have a 67 mustang with the original straight 6. My original carb needed a rebuild but I was moving so I needed something quick to get the car from one house to another and it was just awful. Leaking from multiple points. If you tuned it at idle it would studder under loads. Had to run the idle up over 1000rpms so it wouldn't stall. Once I got in my new house ripped it straight off and rebuilt the original and she was right back to normal. Only use as a last resort or get a rebuild kit at the same time to save the headache.

First carburator failed. The seller contacted me and sent a replacement quickly. Good to see they stand by their products.

Delivery was great. Product is a hit or miss.Needs to be disassembled and check for tolerance.Bowl had a pin hole in the aluminum casting creating a constant leak. Good thing I had the old carb. Replaced all the springs and screws etc and basically rebuilt the old carb with parts from this carb. The gaskets that come with this carb are junk.

The only problem is the heat intake from the manifold to the automatic choke had some metal inside which would restrict the air flow. I drilled out the inside so the tube would fit. Unfortunately it changed the brass connection configuration and I had to cut part of the tube loosing the flange which holds the tube to the brass fitting. Now I have to get new tubing and maybe additional brass fittings.

Used for my 6 cyl 1966 Mustang

The carburetor is defective and car keeps stalling due to bad internal pump diaphragm. Since I ordered it on September 1, there is nothing that will be done to help rectify the problem. I can't contact seem to contact the company directly and must only use Amazon support.

I’ve had the carburetor in the car for less then a week and it barely works. Every time I go to start my car I have to readjust it just to get it to idle and not stall.

Few differences from nos, not noticeable on a driver. Good deal to boot. Installed and operates 100% on 65 Mustang
