Used it only once, so far, but it worked well on some tarnished brass and copper ware, returning it to its original lustre.

most reviews are based on average tarnish on items that have been stored indoor. one review, upon which I pinned my hopes, wrote about cleaning copper that was darkened due to outside elements...as mine was. unfortunately, this product didn't budge the build-up at all. still 4 starts bc I suspect this may never have been anticipated for a project like mine. one other note, the manufacturer could fill the tub with more product and exclude the sponge which is stored within the container. I'm sure most of us have cleaning rags/sponges and could do without the one that's included in exchange for more product.

This product is amazing. The photo below shows start to finish & a different product. Starting on the left -1. Original with no cleaning.2. I used acetone to get whatever is in the cracks off.3. I used Brasso & this is the result with extensive scrubbing.4. This is the result with this product after step 2. This was as simple as putting it on with the sponge that’s provided & rubbing it off with a washcloth.

Great product, does what is says

Wonderful, effective product. Also great on brass. I used this to clean and polish antique brass scales. It was surprisingly easy and fast to clean off 10 plus years of tarnish. See the before picture on the right and after on the left. Just bought my third jar to clean more brass.

While the product does work for the most part the container was only 3/4 full not at all what I expected.
