These are well-made, feel good in the hand, and the design has many useful features; it's been thought out well. There are cutting jobs at which it's going to excel, and those that it's not going to do at all. For example, it'll cut thread, string, paper, even light cardboard, with ease, but something like velcro, it won't cut at all. For my purpose, which is light-duty cutting of things on an electronics workbench, it's a nice solution.

This is my first pair of ceramic scissors and I have to say I'm very impressed. If they're all like this I'll never buy anything else ever again. These are very precision and feel very comfortable in my hand. While they won't cut your hand they cut paper like a scalpel. Very precise.

this is gonna sound silly, but this scissor is the best packing air-bag deflator i've ever used. The short blade length and fork geometry means it's really good at puncturing where a single blade might glance off. No more loud popping sounds when disposing of packing bags! As an actual scissor, it has a bit of a learning curve. You need to snip at the middle because unlike normal scissors snipping close to the blade intersection will just make material fold, and this plus the short blade means it's pretty inefficient for snipping lengthy sheets. It's a novel design and worth it for the bag disposal alone, IMO.

I needed a good pair of snips for errant threads when Im sewing. I learned how to use a sewing machine when I was very young. My Grandmother taught me everything. And these scissor/snips are the best !! They are slick and durable, but not razor sharp to the touch. They make short work of trimming and cutting threads. I love them. This was a good choice. I would buy them again.

I have been making face masks, so I decided to put these to the test. They do cut thread, but I don't like them very much. What is the problem? One problem is that they are so long that when I reach for them my hands often do not land in the correct position for use. This is an annoyance, not a deal breaker. The extra length lets you attach them to an lanyard and wear them around your neck, but I don't care about this, as it is something I would never do. I am sewing while seated, and I want to easily reach for them with my right hand and use them without thinking about it. Reaching in front to grab snips would be, for me, nothing but an annoyance. The other problem is that the blah non-color is easy to lose track of. The self-opening design is handy, so I had thought to upgrade the pair of snips I have had for decades that have this design. I will be hanging on to those blue scissors for a bit longer, though.

They just don't cut. Work in a textile meal we make things out of elastic and small thin yarn. These are terrible when it come to cutting. The comfort is amazing and the idea for these are great. They don't perform tho. They cut paper that's about it. I'm afraid the performance of the product is so bad it makes the comforts that surround it obsolete. Comforts only matter when they surround good performance in the duty in a which they are made for. I hope yall perfect this.

Got this for my arthritic grandmother and she likes it. I think it could be a bit sharper but it definitely does the job.
