🤏A Preview to purchase : ******************************** Needed a basketball for my 9 year old kid & was confused which size & brand to buy. Read some basics of basketball over internet & Finally found few points that i would like to share : Choosing a basketball : ****************************** 🔹️ If you are going to use on indoor wooden stadium surface, then leather or synthetic leather balls are best, for grip & durability, however due to abrasion without on concrete or hard floors, these are not recommended for hard surfaces. 🔹️Leather balls are the most costly, second comes pu leather or synthetic leather balls & last, is a rubber ball. 🔹️ Use rubber balls only, if you plan it using on hard concrete floors or maybe on roads. They may work on all surfaces though. Leather or synthetic ones would never last on such abrasive & hard surfaces. 🔹️ A butyl rubber inner bladder & outer rubber cover is a best combination for rough use. 🔹️ Select minimum 8 panel ball as, the more the number of panels the greater is grip & mechanical integrity of the outer cover. 🔹️All pebbling over the ball surface inceases the grip to handle it. 🔹️ Spalding ,Cosco, Wilson, Nivia are some major brands. In that , Nivia pro touch, cosco challenge, spalding TF250 or logoman are some good choices in india. Anyways dont think too hard, any ball would just last an year & half at max before the grip is mostly lost. 🔹️ For ages around 7 size 5 is okay , for anything above 8 years size 6 or 7, anything is good. Size 6 or 7 doesn't make that much of a difference.So don't worry. About the product : ********************** Last time, in 2018 , I bought a size 5, nivia top grip rubber basket ball that lasted 2 years without issues. Few key major points regarding this spalding ball are : 🔹️ It has an exact diameter of 25 cms as shown in the size chart & don't worry its quite fitting for even kids from above 8 years to even adults for general purposes. 🔹️ It has a top quality compound rubber construction with butyl rubber internal bladder & an all weather all surface. My kid has been using it over all kinds of terrain & byfar its holding quite good. 🔹️ As per the embossing over the ball it has an official nba size & weight for size 7 balls. 🔹️ The ball that i received was manufactured in aug 2020 & carries an mrp tag of 849 bucks though i got this ball for 721 bucks which is good. 🔹️ The ball has an excellent bounce & seems highly durable. All in all , i would say it is a top quality, all terrain, rubber basket ball with a good value for money.

The pin is garbage , if you order this ball do not pump it bcoz the pin broke when I used it in the ball , so after that I used a official nivia pump to inflate it and the ball is so grippy texture , colour , bounce is very good.... If you Found this helpful thankyou

This ball is of the perfect quality and official weight. It's grip is good and the bounce is also good.

Rubbish product...this is the second time i have bought a Spalding basketball from Amazon and it has turned out to be defective...the air goes out in 2 days...

It was a decent ball in the beginning. But in around 2 months it bulged at multiple places and became out of shape. Also the pin that came with it for filling air wasn't fitting properly in my air pump.
