Kid O Tip Truck Early Learning Push & Pull Toy, Blue

Was thrilled to find this truck and the corresponding Kido car for my grandson's first vehicles for his first Christmas! It was a long search, but when I found it I liked everything about this truck--it looked cool, it was sturdy, worked well, required no batteries and didn't talk and sing and all that other nonsense that all the baby/toddler toys seem to do now. Yes, I do buy some such toys, but I was just looking for good quality plain vehicles that the kid can play with and put his imagination to use with.My LO is a bit young for this at seven months (the box states "1+"), but he will grow into it and probably keep playing with it for several years. The size is a little large for his little hands, but it is not too big or heavy for him to manipulate. I love the white truck bed--big enough to carry a few small toys, and it is easy to lift and angle it like a dump truck. Also the back gate swings open like a pick-up (only it opens from the bottom). I like how the truck bed and gate both "click" into place when you shut them. The headlights are shiny, and remind me a bit of eyes, but I am glad that they did not paint a face on the truck; I did not want an anthropomorphic vehicle. It is ideal for holding and pushing because the space on the top of the cab forms a perfect "handle", and the rubberized wheels spin like crazy. He will be able to get the thing moving easily with the slightest push. The handle will fit a grown up hand, too, just to give you an idea how big it is. And that gives me the idea of "driving" the truck over the babe's tum-tum for laughs!This product is distributed from Kid O toys in the USA and SmartBaby AB in Sweden. The styling is very European, I might add. The only drawback is that the toy is made in China, but at least they have done their homework in this case and made sure it is a safe, quality product. No sharp edges, no PVC, BPA or Phthalates. They got the packaging just right, too. It is a simple box--easy to wrap--just big enough for the truck and no extra stuff, made of 100% recycled cardboard.I definitely recommend this Kido Tip Truck for any toddlers and preschoolers. If you are looking for vehicles for a kiddo who is crawling around and beginning to manipulate things in various ways, I think this is also a good bet.

Such a simple design, minimalist in the extreme, but my son loves it. He plays with it on the floor and takes it with him in the bath as well. It is a tipping bed truck with a swing up tail gate. The cab is open with no windshield and doubles as a handle for toddler hands. The tires are hard rubber and the lights are just clear acrylic disks. The truck is well made and takes toddler abuse, throwing, dropping, etc. It is a great toy for toddlers.

The truck is very sturdy. I got it to go along with the book Little Blue Truck. The simplicity of the truck is ideal for little one’s hands.

I love the Kid O vehicles and have purchased several of the cars and trucks, some for my daughter and some as gifts. They are sturdy and roll very well. The truck bed tips up and the back gate opens. The truck bed is big enough to hold a toy animal or some blocks. I think these are a good value since they appeal to a wide age range and will hold up to lots of play.

Love this truck! I bought it for my 9 month old because he loved the original car with the handle. I only have it four stars instead of five because it doesn't have a handle that's easy to lean on and push for small kids learning. When you lean on this, it tips forward. Other than that it's great! The rubber wheels keep it from sliding, the back tilts up and a flap opens so you can actually pour small items out from under the opening. cute!

We just got this today, but I have to say that I'm really impressed with it. It's not too large, so check your dimensions, but it's very nicely made and appears to be super-sturdy. Simple, sleek and rolls easily, with rubberized wheels - helps cut down on noise with hardwood floors.

I bought this for my grandson. I think it's really a great toy - uncomplicated and very kid-friendly. But here's the problem: Over and over I find that kids don't care much for toys. They'd rather play with your pots and pans, your shelf-items, the contents of your drawers and closets, or simply, your shoe-strings. Kids are fascinated by regular, everyday stuff. And I think it wise to nurture that because this is the world they must master. So, it might be just a pasta fork to you and me, but to them, it's something amazing. My grandson LOVES his pasta fork and chooses it over EVERY store-bought toy in his toy chest, including this truck. I'm just saying...

Bought this truck along with the Kid O Go Car for my 7 month old. It is sturdy, colourful, and rolls really well. He absolutely loves it, and it is a toy that he can definitely grow with. Am planning on purchasing the rest of the line. These toys are a fantastic purchase as they are easy to grasp and simple in design. A super gift if you are looking for something well made and durable.

Kid O makes great, sturdy, well designed little toys. They will totally hold up to a toddler throwing and bashing them around. We already had the little car and love it - it was the first toy my kid picked out for himself at the toystore.I love the simplicity and thoughtfulness of their designs - things like the window of the truck also functioning as a rounded handle for chubby toddler hands, soft rubber wheels, and a bed that really goes up and down.It doesn't hurt that they are also beautiful and minimal and look great in my home - like modern sculpture more than junky kids toy.My only complaint is that the swinging tailgate pops right off, quite easily. Thankfully, It pops back in just as easily. Still it's unfortunate as little pieces get lost easily with a toddler around, so I try to avoid them, as much as I can.
