An Excellent Modeler's Reference
This is the reference for working with all the 1/32d scale models of the FW190A, D, F, and G series. This was exactly what I was looking for since I have a collection of pre-built FW190As in 1/32 scale and want to improve their appearance or make conversions to the F and G series. This along with 'Focke-Wulf Fw 190 A/F: Assembly, Transformation, Painting, Weathering...' by Aurelio Gimeno Ruiz will allow me to incorporate as much detail as possible with minimum fuss and use many of the after market accessories available.

Well detailed
A fine modeling book that is packed with tips and techniques that any modeler will find useful in building the FW-190.

Recommended if bookshelf space is at a premium
Concise discussion of the aircraft and the selected kits. A handy overview (as Osprey books are) but worth the money. Recommended if bookshelf space is at a premium.

Great level of detail
Enjoyed it greatly - fine attention and good content describing his various techniques. I liked too the research that went into each individual aircraft's history.

OK, not great though
Main focus is on 1/32 kits, not 1/48. I should have also checked the date it was published; there's no mention of Eduard kits, easily the best and most detailed FW 190 kits available. Overall, it is OK and does give some useful information and tips, but is very dated and shows it. Mildly disappointed.
