Just the job!
This pair of clamps arrived in good time and were ideal for holding some battens in place whilst I drilled and fixed them. May well look for som large versions suitable for clamping cabinets etc.

Good items
I am pleased with these clamps, they appear strong and easy to use, much better than the ones I have had for the last 20 years, get good tools and the job gets smoother, I have been "getting by" with the others on many DIY jobs, I now have things better. They seem to be worth the small cost.

Glad I spent a little extra
Read a lot of reviews for products like this and decided to go with these even though they were a little more expensive. Pleasantly surprised at the quality. Other reviews for clamps like these stated the products were lightweight, cheap, or small. These feel heavier weight and better built than I expected. I'm glad I spent the extra money. These are probably not for heavy duty work or professional grade, but for home diy projects these will work great.

Release button functions poorly
The quick release buttons are very hard to push in, making the clamps unusable. In addition the handles feel wrong, they are not facing the natural way when using.

Grumble Grumble
Now this may sound odd but I dislike my wife a great deal. She's brutish and rude, terrible to look at too. I bought these clamps to restrain her from eating the cheese in the fridge. I thought a stout clamp would dissuade her but no! These clamps are so weak and poorly made that even she could break their grip. There's not been a block of cheese in this house for weeks now as she would just guzzle it. I really miss cheese
