May not pick up everybody.......
Interesting little unit. I have 2 other competitive units so I have run a reasonable set of tests. With the "wings" fully out I have checked this little guy in numerous areas in the room, even near the window. The only station it doesn't get is the local ABC UHF station. This is disappointing because I bought this with the advert that it does a better job than the competition in this area. Everybody does VHF. Not everyone does UHF well. It does get a lot of VHF channels. Placement in the room always makes a difference. It can be placed in many areas. With the wings partially folded it can go on a bookcase, or it can hang from a window curtain rod.So: Gets a lot of VHF channels, UHF may be an issue unless you are close, easy to set up, unobtrusive and stylish if you need to hide. Would probably be better in urban than rural environment.

It worked in my dead zone room
This is the only indoor antenna that worked in my "dead zone room."I call it that because I've tried so many antennas in there and the best I could get was 1 channel that wouldn't lock in.I watched Antenna Man's review of this one and decided to try one more. I hoped that it would at least lock in that one channel. Well, it did and to my surprise, it locked in 17 more as well!I'm truly impressed.

Shipped w/o addt'l packaging, damaged (very brittle material?)
Item arrived in it's original box w/o additional packaging. The bottom long edge was slightly torn. But, the antenna 'wings' were damaged. Antenna still works, but is an eyesore.Update - submitted an exchange for a replacement... The new box arrived in the same condition. (No other packaging and with 2 tears and a dent.) Contents appear OK at first glance.

UPDATE
UPDATE: Since my previous review, I've discovered the antenna developed problems with longer use. A corner of one of the wings has broken off exposing some white material and the top edge is chipped. Sitting on top of the patio door frame caused the wings on either side to warp more with also some warping in the center panel. I didn't want to attach it to the wall in case it needed frequent location changes and rescans (which it does). Recently, it started losing channels even though the 5 local TV transmission towers are less than 46 miles from my home. When I first got it, I might rescan every other week; now, I have to rescan every other day. If 33 channels are memorized during a rescan, less than half will have a strong enough signal to be watchable. Yesterday, the antenna dropped the majority of 48 channels it had received the day before. Even though it was a bright sunny day with very little breeze, a rescan only received 12 channels (1 network channel and 11 substations). After 3 hours of relocating the antenna and rescanning, I was finally able to get 3 network stations and 14 substations that were strong enough to be watchable, but most were not stations that I normally watch. The antenna is also very affected by weather now - even light rain causes major pixelation issues and total loss of various stations' signals. When it gets a strong signal, the picture quality is great. But it seems as this product ages (and it ages quickly since I've only had it since April 2023), the 200+ miles range rapidly shrinks and with it the antenna's reception quality. That's why I've removed 1 star from this review. I'll keep it for a backup, but I'm definitely looking to replace this antenna.ORIGINAL REVIEW: After fighting with Comcast and cable boxes for years, I finally decided to cut the cord. My neighbor suggested the 1byone antenna brand. I live in a major metropolitan area so there are several transmission towers. However, they are several miles in different directions from my condo. This antenna is so easy to install. First, I used the suction cups to attach it to my patio door. In that location, it pulled in about 48 channels. However, I soon found out that direct sunlight isn't great for reception (slightly warped the corners) and I kept losing channels. I moved the antenna to sit on the top frame of my patio door. At first, I got 50 channels, but some of those dropped out. By moving it to the center of the patio door frame, I cleared the brick wall at the corner of my deck and started receiving 60 channels. Of course, weather (like the Nova Scotia smoke, heavy rain) can interfere with some channels. But I still have more than I had with cable (17 watchable channels). If you find that you're getting a weak/no signal on some channels, it's easy to just rescan and/or move the antenna slightly to get them back or receive other channels. For $35, I'm saving over $900 per year. With the money saved, I can get one or more streaming services for additional entertainment. One of the best purchases I've ever made!

It works quite well
Being older and remembering antenna on tvs, i was skrptical. This device receives quite a few stations1 cbs1 fuxSeveral pbsA number of Local public serviceAnd a few religious channels.Based on the fcc map i ordered, it was reasonably accurate minus the nbc station.Im guessing an outdoor unit would over the air that as well. But for the money, this is great.Im using at a summer home, roku, internet and samsungs private internet channels give me a huge array.I will miss a few live channel programs. But total savings from spectrum is about 140 month.

Easy to use and does its job
This antenna was very easy to install and has a very long cord so you can put it almost anywhere. I placed this at the top of our window and it is both out of sight and out of mind. When I close the shades, you can't even tell it's there. The picture quality is pretty good, but I bet it would be better if I go even higher. I recommend you check this out if you are on the hunt for a new antenna. Keep in mind that the distance you are from the city will make a big difference in your picture quality.

Indoor HDTV antenna
I just installed this indoor HDTV antenna and it is excellent and outperforms a Insignia antenna I got from Best But previously. This antenna at my location pulls in ABC, NBC and Fox plus about 28 other channels I never watch with ease and with HDTV quality reception and sound as well. CBS never comes in at my location with it being the only VHF but don't really watch it anyways. I may still hook up the amplifier to see if it makes a difference sometime but right not even without using the amplifier it still gets great results. I rate this a solid 5 out of 5.
