I want to address the 1 star reviews. One guy bought a used costume and complained that it was obviously used. Okay... Another gave a one star because he liked the blue color. SMH. I did not find the jacket itchy at all and received compliments that I looked very formal. Which was the look I was going for. Make sure to buy the advertised long sleeve white shirts that finish the look. Not sure if one is wearing a long sleeve undershirt how the jacket could still be itchy. The buttons were secure and the color was as advertised. As for the fit, I think people just think they know their size and are sad when this jacket ends up being too small. The included size chart goes by actual measurements and the jacket fit great because it matched the chart. Use the chart. Also keep in mind the design of the jacket and vest is not based on modern jackets and rides higher, so some might conclude the jacket does not fit when it actually does. at any price this was a great costume and I am going to keep it in my costume collection. At the price, they are charging it exceeded expectations and you should ignore the one star ratings, but give yourself some time to exchange if you get the sizing wrong.

Pros: Great quality. Sturdier and heavier than some of the others. Collar is nice and stiff. Fabric isn't flimsy or see-through. Make sure to go up one size. The colors and stitching are on point. FYI: The piping is silver. The arm's are the proper length and it wears good. My husband has a bit of belly but the vest area is great and sits as a vest normally would. Cons: Buttons are sewed on a bit flimsy. Be prepared to reinforce them.

This coat looks great and feels much nicer than something you'd get at a costume store for a similar price. The buttons seem sewn on a little loosely and I fully expect to have to fix a couple of those, but that's not a big deal. The main problem is that the sizing is definitely weird. I first ordered an XL based on a review from someone who said they were about my size and it is almost comically oversized through the shoulders and chest. I look like a kid wearing his dad's coat. So before returning it, I ordered a L to compare. That one is extremely form-fitting and not really comfortable to get into or move around in. It looks like the difference between the two sizes is double what the chart says, if not more, and that there really should be a size in between them. If I needed to layer underneath the L I definitely could not do it, but in the XL I could put a couple layers and still have it be too big. In the end, I'm keeping the L and sacrificing comfort because the silhouette actually has a shape to it, like the product photo, whereas the XL just hangs loosely and looks more like a costume and cheaper as a result.

I really like this jacket. This really brought my Halloween costume to life. I tried several other styles and I just loved the look of the velour fabric on this one. It's a touch tight across the chest and under the armpits, but nothing a little moving around won't break in. For reference, I'm 6' and 220lbs. This jacket is an XL.

Use sparingly, it might scare people because it’s a hit at Halloween! You actually could use it as real clothing! But be careful if you see someone carrying a hammer and a wooden stake!

This coat fit my 6'2 190 lb husband perfectly! Made well and comfortable. Highly recommend

The tailcoat is surprisingly well made, and looks fantastic. The buttons on the vest portion are attached a little flimsily, but that’s my only complaint. For reference, I’m 5’9, 140lbs, and bought a small. Fits perfect in the shoulders, and is a little roomy in the waist, but I love the length and cut. The arms are also a little long, but they look good cuffed up, so it’s a non- issue. Great value for the money.

seems nice however arrives VERY wrinkled. not as long as shown yet arms too long. fit is off .

We were very happy with the green steampunk tailcoat it is good quality material and really well made i even got an email from the makers to advise me that they were making it a bit bigger as Chinese sizes are smaller than ours and it fitted my husband perfectly he was dressing up as the Wizard of OZ. It is a very versatile costume to have.
