Great microphone. I have several similar mics like the Logitech Yeti Orb and the Razer Siren Mini and they sound tinny. This one sounds much more accurate. It's even better than a Presonus XLR mic I have. It's not super loud, but much louder than all those others. You shouldn't need much software boost. I never touch the volume knob and I'm not sure why you would need to.The pop filter is bulky and the end the stalk is the nut that the knob screws into to hold the base on. It's a standard M6 thread. But you can replace it with any screw and nut that fit. I used an M5 GoPro thumbscrew and nut. I also designed and 3D printed my own low profile base. You don't want a mic like this pointed at your face, the sound is usually better from your chest.

I have been using this mic for 2 years and still going. I needed something to quickly replace my lousy head set mic which introduced a lot of noise. I found this USB Tonor on Amazon after spending hours combing through countless of affordable mics and read enough reviews to convince me to give this one a try.I also bought a separate stand for it so I can maneuver it's position more efficiently. (the closer it is to your face, the better the sound quality). I use it pretty much every day when I get on Discord or play games like Apex legends, Phasmophobia, etc. I have been told that it sounds great! :)I've messed around with Audacity and was also pleasantly surprised at how well this mic worked and how it made my voice sound like a radio personality. lol.Accessories:It does come with a removable foam filter and a round pop filter. The only negative here, is the pop filter's arm. Mine is a bit flimsy and hard to keep in position. One slight tap and it moves. But, this is a very minor issue for me, as I can easily replace it with something a bit more sturdy. In then end however, I simply chose to not use one, as the foam cap was sufficient for my needs.I do wish the pop filter's arm was removable from the base of the holder, but again, you can also replace the base itself with one that suits you needs.Sound transmission is very good and depends on uninterrupted USB connection. This is the first time I've used a USB mic, so I didn't know what to expect. But it works great on my PC, connected to a USB 3.0 input.My specs for your reference:Motherboard: Asus B-450 F GamingCPU: Ryzen 5 3600RAM: Corsair 32GB 3600mhz dual channel mode.I also use a good quality braided USB extension cord and have added some ferrite rings at both ends of my USB cords to help reduce any EMI noise, just for good measure.Conclusion: I recommend it. It's may not be an expensive studio professional grade mic, but it's remarkably close and excellent for game and Discord use (and live streaming for that matter). Price is very fair if you need something in a pinch that doesn't sound like a 1980s McD's drive thru speaker phone. :)

Overall, this is a great mic; easy to set up, visually pleasant, and truly plug-and-go. The audio quality is solid for the price and it looks pretty cute on the desk. However, it does feel a bit fragile and cheaply built. The pop filter broke at both of its clamp points where it connects to the base.It's also easy to knock over, since the legs don’t lock in place and the mic is just suspended by rubber ropes. I’m also not a fan of the manual mute button, it's like the mic wasn't made for its stand, as you can barely get to it. Also for some reason, my computer thinks the mic has audio output; so if your sound randomly cuts out after plugging it in, double-check your audio and output settings on your computer and apps you are using. Usually one or both for me is trying to send out sound through the mic.Overall, if you don’t mess with it too much, it gives great audio and looks cute doing so. It's a solid buy for casual or light use, just not something I’d recommend for professional setups.

I use the mic for voice recording on some software, and ive had no issues, decent mic, for the price, and a great choice to start off a streaming career

This is an updated review after speaking with Tonor Customer Service and doing loads of my own research into audio issues with this mic.First off, the mic itself is probably decent enough, however it's effectiveness appears dependent on how well it cooperates with the Windows USB audio drivers. I've read and seen videos from plenty of people who appear to have no issue with this mic and yet I've also read the same from many others who describe the same problems I've had.The main problem encountered is the low pick-up volume of the mic. It makes it very hard to use without upping the gain to near max which then introduces a slew of other problems (background buzz and over sensitivity). No matter what audio filters I would try, the problem would persist and audio quality was poor as a result. After doing a lot of online research, I discovered that there is a potential problem with Microsoft Windows and USB audio devices. Basically the Windows drivers for USB audio devices may not function properly and thus creating the low pick-up volume problem. It's not a problem limited to this mic, but any USB mic can fall prey to this, even mics way more expensive than this.Perhaps the one I got was just a bad draw as it was affected by this problem quite badly. As is, the mic is not usable for myself. I would also add the cable is a bit too short, but a minor issue compared to the main one.Tonor Customer Service sent me their newer USB microphone, the TC30 to try out. I can definitely say the newer mic works better. While it doesn't eliminate the background noise issue, it's way better at picking up my voice without having to boost the gain. This mic is more usable to me and with some noise filtering, it sounds much better (plus it has a slightly longer cable). So I'd suggest considering that mic over this one (plus it's cheaper, like $25 compared to the TC-777 which close to $50). One thing I did notice with the TC30, is that Windows detected it as a Tonor microphone, not a generic PnP mic like it did with the TC-777, so again, maybe it could had been a bad mic that Windows didn't like for whatever reason.I will give Tonor Customer Service some kudos for their outreach and willingness to correct the bad experience.

If it is even possible, I think I received more than I paid for with this product.Everything that's included with the box is of very good quality with most of the mount being made of metal. The product comes mostly assembled, with the exception of the pop filter, which you simply have to twist on. After that, it's a matter of simply plugging in the USB cable into a USB port (and switching the preferred input method in your computer's settings).I tried this product with three electronic devices: an Apple Macbook Air from 2014, a Microsoft Surface Pro 7, and a Playstation 4 Slim.The sound quality when using the mic with the Macbook Air and Surface Pro is crisp and clear. Any background noise that the mic might pick up is minimized so that whatever sound fed directly towards the mic is dominant. For example, at the time of receiving and using this product, it is the middle of the summer time, and I have an air conditioning unit cooling my room. When playing back the audio, I could still hear the air conditioning in the background as well as the sound of footsteps on hardwood when my family was being particularly heavy footed. But my voice was always the most clear of all the noises.Now, the thing about the mic I received, is that it will occasionally product a clicking noise or some static in the background of recording with my computers. The problem persists to varying degrees. I have some recordings where the noise appears at the start of the recording, then disappears within a few seconds... other times, the noise appears in the middle of a recording and persists.With the PS4, the mic was clear for the first few minutes before I was told by a friend in the party chat that there was a lot of minor static in the background of my audio. Not to the point of being annoying, but that it was there. It was fixed for a brief moment after I unplugged and plugged the USB port, but eventually came back. (I have taken to recording my audio in small parts in order to avoid this issue... this isn't particularly inconveniencing for my situation, however, as it's probably best to record lines in small bursts to avoid messing up in the middle of a large recording)So, wondering if it was just my ineptitude with audio recording technology, I contacted the company using the support email on the service card included in the box.I sent them an email right before bed on Wed at around 12 in the morning explaining the problem that I was having, and they contacted me back within 6 hours. After providing them with a recording of the issue I was having, as well as a picture of the package label (mostly for documentation and quality control purposes), they sent me a new mic.I am absolutely pleased and satisfied with the customer support from this company!

I needed to have a good quality, but not inordinately expensive plug-and-play desk microphone for recording narration on videos. I have tried numerous analog microphones, but I find it troublesome to use them with Windows 10. The settings are never quite right, and often the sound is much too low. I have used a USB headset for voice recognition and wanted to try a USB-connected desk microphone for my narrations, so I purchased the TONOR unit. I was pleased to see that this microphone is truly plug-and-play. It worked first time, one two different computers without any setup.The initial try was satisfactory from a sound quality perspective, but there was noticeable background noise. I notified the manufacturer and they promptly replaced the unit. The new one works quite well.One interesting aspect of the photos of the unit in advertising is that they show the microphone mounted in its holder in two different ways. When both of the microphones arrived, the microphone was mounted on the stand what I would call backwards. That is, when facing the TONOR label, the microphone would only tilt forwards. Thus, you would have to situate yourself under the microphone to be facing it. I would think that most users would want the microphone to be on a desk lower than their mouth, so the microphone would have to tilt backwards. To have that arrangement, means that you have to pull the microphone out from its holder, rotate it 180 degrees and remount it. To make it clear, the side of the microphone with the brand label is the active side.I think the manufacturer is mislabeling the usage of this unit as a 'gaming microphone'. To me, while not a broadcast-quality unit, it is quite useful.The only design fault I observed is that the mounting means of the pop filter is not well done. I found it almost impossible to keep the spiral tube that holds the filter in the proper position. I had to use some black gaffer tape to hold it bent. Not good.Since it bothered me so much, I'm adding a postscript about the pop filter. The accompanying photos show the unit after I used a pair of vice-grip pliers to unscrew the spiral rod that holds the filter onto the frame. Then with a hacksaw, I cut the rod to about 2.5" total length and smoothed the rough edges. Screwing it back into the holder, mounting the filter back on the rod, the result is as shown in the 4th photo. I think this cleans up the appearance of the unit, doesn't affect its operation and the excess length of the rod is gone. If you don't have the right tools, this modification won't be for you - but maybe the manufacturer will change the design to make it unnecessary.

Positioning takes a bit of work but sound quality is very good and easy to set up. Price is good as well

Excelente producto, puedo estar lejos de él y aún así se me escucha perfectamente. Lo único malo es que no se puede desconectar de abajo, pero fuera de eso está increíble. Se siente de muy buena calidad en general. Buen sonido, se escucha bien. Gran relación calidad-precio. Inclusive diría que es muy barato para el buen funcionamiento que tiene (ya llevo meses utilizando y no me ha dado ningún tipo de problema). RECOMIENDO AMPLIAMENTE.

Un muy buen microfono para jugar, stremear, hablar por el PC a un buen precio.Al ser pequeño no ocupa mucho espacio y no es necesario tenerlo delante de tu boca para tener una buena calidad.
