Pretty good.
I used these on my 1/2in drip lines installation 3 years back and they're holding up fine. You just push them in while twisting and they fit tight. You can twist them back out at the end of the season to flush out the water before winter, put them back and you're good for Spring. That said, I didnt drain the system this past winter and they held up.

Sturdy.
This is built well but wouldn't fit our 1/2 inch hose. We had to buy a 5/8 inch one. I think if you buy the hose and connector from the same company they might be more compatible.

Leaks small amounts
Works good but drips some still worth it

sure they look good
yes they will just slide onto the drip hose, BUT the thing is the thread size is fine and most if not all of the general garden hoses have a coarse thead. The end result is that you can not screw them on to any averagehose.... and really they are not that decorative so they just go in the junk drawer

Easiest way to uncap end lines in irrigation system.
These end caps have proven to be indispensable in uncapping end lines in an irrigation system when blowing out the system to clear out the water for winterization. We use a RainBird irrigation system for watering 20 large urns in a courtyard and these end caps are so easy to just be able to unscrew the cap when we need to open up the lines and blow out the water in the tubing in order to best winterize the system. While it takes very strong effort to slip the piece onto the end of the tubing, we have found they stay in place and do not allow leakage…w replaced all of the figure eight end caps used during the initial system installation. Warning the tubing to allow it to be more malleable prior to installation definitely helps you to be able to more easily slide the cap down over the end of the tubing…make sure you have squarely and evenly cut off the end of the tubing and you can allow the sun to heat up the tubing or in our case, we heat a clay bead filled medical wrap in the microwave and hold it on the end of the tube for a faster warm up. These end caps are a quality product and the one we chose after trying 2 other brands.

Works well with Rain Bird poly tubing...
I was disappointed when Rain Bird's own termination clamp doesn't cap the end without spraying water all over the place, so I decided to give something else a try. This cap was designed for a 0.62" OD but works well on the Rain Bird's poly 0.634" OD. I was surprised that there was not even a drip of water coming out of the thing even though I don't see any metal clamps clamping the tube in like a Shark Bite. It even has a cap you can open so in case you want to flush any debris in the line you can easily do so... Definitely much better than the folding clamps that just don't work very well...

Hard to install
These are super/hella/hecka tight!!! Lordy - I had to lean into it with my full adult weight for minutes - and rock it around - before these would compress onto enough tubing. So, it wasn’t a joy to work with. But hey, given how tight the fit is, I doubt that there’ll be any leaks from the compression collar. I had to install a trio of these, so it took some time and some doing. And sometimes, I’d have to press so hard that the tubing would warp and crimp. That’s how tight these buggers are.
