Soldered in, worked well, glad i thought to look here and bought. Duct tape melts off from the heat of the bulb , so proper replacement only choice lol

Bought these for my Versa Note. Worked great.

As you know, you will need to splice these into your headlight wiring. I recommend soldering them and covering with heat shrink wrap. I have replaced these headlight bulb sockets twice before, the plastic ones get too hot and melt the plastic, allowing the connector to loosen and causing more heat. This all results in your headlight going out. These being ceramic will never do this. The wiring is of ample size, larger than OEM. As these are a universal fit for the bulb, the wire color will not match, just make sure you look at which color of your factor wiring goes to which pin, and just splice one wire at a time. The socket fit snuggly on the headlight bulb and snapped into place, this requires quite a bit of force, but it's secure. Very happy with the product.
