I have been using Bitdefender for a few years now, and I am pleased with the protection it offers, it works automatically in the background so it is really unobtrusive which is an excellent user experience. It really does take the security off your mind, of course, I would still advise the use of common sense when browsing the Internet and to be wary of scams present everywhere. It works seamlessly on any device that runs either Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, I would love if it were available on Linux as well, instead of just having the free antivirus option. The price of this product is really excellent for £20 you get one year of antivirus and antimalware protection for 5 devices which is for most people enough, my partner and I use it on 3 laptops and 2 phones. If you try buying the same product from their website it is at least 50% more expensive and twice as expensive upon renewal, which is why I always disable renewals and just buy codes once a year. The great thing about antivirus solutions nowadays is that you get all the other useful tools as well, and some not as useful. Just a few years ago you would only get antivirus for the same price, now you get antivirus, antimalware, ransomware protection, email scanning, browser anti-tracker, file-shredder, passwords manager, limited VPN, PC optimizer, which in my opinion is good enough and gives a boost to the value of this product, again for £20 you have more peace of mind and it just works. Overall, my experience with Bitdefender has been and still is very positive, I don't even worry about viruses any more, sure I am still being cautious, and am using common sense but I am not stressing about having to use the backup in case virus encrypts or destroys my data. Again I would advise using backups along with the virus protection if you save any important data on your device, I myself store data on the cloud which is why I do not use backups.

I have used Bit Defender Total Security for quite a few years now as it seems to do a good job of protecting all five devices in my household (2 PCs, 3 Android devices) and I see no reason to change. The software tends to quietly get on with the job in the background, doesn't seem to hog resources or impact performance too much and doesn't bother the user with annoying popups such as advertisements, special offers, needy feedback requests or upgrade demands. Where this product on Amazon excels is in the price. Until now I have paid far more for a year's subscription via the company website. To find the same product on Amazon for just £20 and from the actual company itself is outstandingly good value for the peace of mind that this online security product brings. I'm delighted to have found this offer and will be back here again when renewal time comes round again!

Sorry, this is the most frustrating Total Security program I have used, there have been so many false alarms regarding web sites that I know are fine, getting to upload my meter readings for gas and electricity is a constant pain saying your connection is not private, it will ask me if I want to proceed, I say yes but then it refuses to allow me. (why ask? If I accept responsibility and say proceed, I expect it to do just that). The latest is trying to go to Canon web site for new drivers for my printer, no chance, not allowed. I have to turn the program off to proceed. Never had any problems with my last program. Apart from this frustrating gripe the rest of the experience has been fine and I suppose better safe than sorry. Would have been 5 if the above was not annoying me so will give it a 4 Update. I have really had enough to be honest, It is blocking all sorts of sites, now will not let me down load music I have paid for, I have tried all the online suggestions with no luck. They need to install a temporary complete shut off like some I have used before because you cannot turn this program off without uninstalling it which I am going to do.

Dopo un iniziale problema con Amazon che ha dovuto cancellare il mio ordine della versione italiana del prodotto, ho riordinato quella inglese (unica disponibile in quel momento) che ovviamente ho dovuto attendere qualche giorno in più (ma è comunque arrivato prima del previsto). A parte questo, consiglio l'acquisto, perché: 1) arriva una custodia in cartone sigillata con card su cui è stampato il codice di attivazione; 2) il codice può essere usato per riattivare un prodotto in scadenza/scaduto (purché corrisponda la versione); 3) il fatto che sia inglese è ininfluente, io ci ho riattivato l'installazione che avevo, ed è rimasta in italiano; 4) è molto più conveniente di qualsiasi altra opzione di rinnovo: il software mi proponeva sconti fino al 60% per il rinnovo, con le offerte Black Friday si risparmiava il 70%, ma con questo che ho pagato 19,90 € ho risparmiato ancora di più. Un'ultima considerazione sul prodotto: le versioni a pagamento degli antivirus hanno anche il firewall, che manca nelle versioni free, ed altre utility (ottimizzazione del pc, pacchetti VPN). Per un prezzo simile (5 dispositivi!) vale sicuramente la pena.

Por eso, al ver que este año amazon tenía bitdefender a buen precio, lo he comprado sin dudarlo, y estoy muy contento, porque además me lo mandaron en el plazo prometido, implecablemente en la caja venía un diptico y dentro del mismo una tarjeta con la clave del producto, que al introducirla automaticamente se actualizan todos los dispositivos que se tengan vinculados a la misma cuenta.
