Keeps your bait alive 🫡

Works fantastic with the Frabill bait bucket
It's a little on the heavy side but it runs for hours on a couple of D-cells. I've run it for 48 hours straight with shiners in the bucket while I was waiting to get out fishing. Kept the bait alive, no problem.

Great for a tight budget
I go surf fishing once a year on our family vacation to the beach. Each year I try to improve my equipment and technique. The last 3 years I've been searching for an aerator to help keep the finger mullet that I catch in the surf alive longer. Three years ago I picked up a cheap 2 AA one from Walmart which lasted about 2 days until the salt water got into the battery compartment and ruined it. Last year I stepped it up a little and bought a Marine Metal Aerator Quiet Bubbles which lasted about 4 hours before the motor stopped working. I was going to send this one back but ended up forgetting about it until it was too late to think about returning it. I order the Frabill a couple days before my trip because of the price and the fact that it had been saltwater tested. I was able to use this one all week long and it did great. I had a couple mullet die but some I kept for as long as 24 hours (fishing was slow). I ran it overnight once but the rest of the time I only ran it while I was fishing. I only replaced the batteries once and that was when I ran it overnight and I wanted to make sure the batteries were fresh to last all night. I would recommend this aeorator to any casual fisherman on a budget. Great product and after going through 2 other brands I am please with how this one held up.

D-Battery driven Portable Aerator for Live Bait.
I liked this small portable aerator for small to medium containers for live bait. Was easy to transport with the bait "bucket" and kept my minnows lively for hours while fishing. My aerator has been used over six hours with the same D-battery and expect an even longer use. Good product for any angler.

Works
Instructions that came with mine said batteries should face opposite. If not it could void the warranty. Almost sounds like they want you to. Align them up an throw away the instructions

Not the best value
I've been a long time user of aeration products from many companies. Many years ago I had a Frabill "Whisper Quiet" that looked like this one. At least externally. Loved the old one, powerful, quiet (I hate loud aerators) and pretty battery friendly. When this one arrived I popped it open to put in some batteries and what a surprise. Nothing inside even resembled the old one. Smaller motor, cheapie air pump, ran the batteries parallel, for a longer lasting 1.5vdc rather than the the old series wiring for 3vdc. No wonder the motor was smaller.Powered it up and it was not as quiet as the original and got progressively louder as the air was restricted. Interestingly it did seem to quiet down a good bit once it was in the bait tank. However, even slightly pinching the air tube would increase the noise until the motor would stall out. I'm sure if the hose would be completely pinched for any amount of time the motor would eventually fry.I had ordered a second one because of the low price I found but after seeing this one I immediately cancelled it. I'll be opting for the next level Frabill with the ability to run off 12vdc or 120vac (both with adapters). For $10 I can't be too hard on this but if I'd paid the more common $20ish I'd have left one star.

Good Unit For Short Term Use
I'm happy with this aerator. It works well and is easy to set up. It works well for short periods of time or plan to use lots of batteries. I did not realize when I ordered it though that you may only get 24 hours or less on a set of batteries. This may have been an oversight on my part as I don't recall seeing that information anywhere.
