I waited 2.5 months after purchasing prior to writing my review.My mice enjoyed running through the tubes, multiple floors, and all the things they can run on.The water containers were ok, as well as the food bowl. I liked that they fit in a cut out spot where they couldn’t knock it over.Unfortunately my furry friends figured out how to escape. Some were able to fit through the top bars above the door, or behind the circular running things.Cleaning this was a nightmare, taking it apart and putting it back together was a process.The mice are mess makers and their mess was all over the place in and out of the cage.Their waste & urine would get into every nook and cranny and make a ridiculous smell.I rated 3 stars because I was able to take some parts of the cage & its components and place them in their new environment. My mice love running in and out of the tubes, rolling in the ball, as well as the wheels.

I wouldn’t recommend this cage to anyone, I’ve been trying to set it up for about 3 hours now because it came with wire bent and the instructions aren’t even usable.- I don’t mean the “oh it’s kind of confusing but I’m sure the husband can figure it out” kind of confusing, I’m talking about the “My hands are raw from bending wire and plastic to make broken landfill material fit the way its should in the picture but it’s physically impossible and the virtually unusable, not to mention severly unstable. One bump from a pet or a kid and the cage will come apart, there goes your childs pet.Horribly designed, manufactured, shipped, and overall user experience. Also a major safety hazard for ANY animal you put in there because the cage bars and very moveable and create gaps for them to escape.Take it from somebody who already wasted their money so you don’t have to, save the literal tears of frustration and purchase something else that is ACTUALLY functionable and won’t make you want to throw it at the wall.

Great value for the money was a bit hard to put together due to inability to snap together proper but with a few bends and tweaks it's great! Also.....it's not the best for a regular size hamster as the running wheels and connecting tubes are a bit small for it but still a great value and will work for smaller critters!!!

I read most of the reviews after I placed my order and I got so nervous because almost everyone had something negative to say. So here’s my opinion. The wire is not easy to bend, a hamster or mouse could not escape through them. The doors are hard to open, it does hurt your fingers after opening and closing a few times. The instructions are hard to understand so you do have to eyeball as you go. The walls didn’t seem to align for me perfectly but it still worked. Everything fit into place after some work. Two wheels were perfect size for a dwarf hamster. One for some reason came smaller, I just simply didn’t place it in. Water bottle is great, nothing was broken nothing was missing. Great cage for your money!!!!!!!!!!

I FINALLY assembled this habitat successfully this weekend. On first unboxing this product I immediately decided to return it. The instructions were awful and nothing seem to fit together well. However, i exercised some patience and now the three mouse inhabitants seem to really like it. I think this review will be most helpful responding to the common complaints in other reviews.First, it IS difficult to understand the picture instructions on the box. However, using heavy duty zip ties in addition to the included plastic clips to hold the wire levels together BEFORE ASSEMBLY made the whole thing easier to snap into the plastic bases.I bent the door latches to make them more secure after reading about other escape artists. If your doors don't close right, bend them so they do.I cut carpet remanents for "bedding" for the second and third floor, because as other reviews state, shredded wood or paper will come out of those levels.Three stars for horrific instructions, requirement of extra zip ties, and needing-to-be bent door latches. BUT once its together, it's pretty cool!

Parts arrived broken and mal formed. No written instructions. Picture instructions with white parts on white paper. Production quality of parts extremely poor bottom of the barrel. I sought to look past the issues up to this point because of the price of the product but I didn't even get through setting up half of it before I realized it was way more trouble than it was worth. I 100% would avoid this product at all costs. I do not often care enough to write reviews but this product should not be sold

Love this cage! Bought it and then two Chinese hamsters - they love it! They explore constantly, run up and down the tunnels and use all three wheels but especially love the ball. Of all the exercisers, the ball is the most smooth, something I didn't expect! The plastic is ultra clear polypropylene so very stiff. Snapped together easily despite the bad directions - took about a half an hour. Love that the bowls come out yet have wide bases so they don't get tipped over. The bottle is good quality, doesn't leak at all. Doors and top cover open and close easily but the hamsters could never open them. Bars are close enough to contain these hamsters which are hardly bigger than mice. I kept the whole unit in a bigger box for a week in case they slipped through but no, even though young and small they haven't escaped. Was attracted by the open bars especially since I think a glass tank looks stifling and feel like it is an especially pleasant environment for a small animal - lots of space, exercise, open air and gives you maximum observation. SO happy with this!
