I ordered this after straining my anterior tibial tendon. It shipped on time which was a huge relief to me. The brace is easy to put on and take off. The important thing to understand is that this brace is not meant for people whom have thicker ankles nor wide feet. I wear a womens shoe size 9 so I ordered a medium and it fits perfectly, nice and snug. My only hangup is that it is hard to shove your foot into your sneaker (I wear asic running shoes) it does stretch out the ankle portion of your shoe but once you have your shoe on with the brace the support is phenomenal. I am able to walk normal with zero pain vs having to shift my weight onto my other side and doing a weird half limp, half shuffle. Overall I'm very pleased with this purchase, my pain has significantly decreased and I would recommend this to anyone with sprains or strains that have average/skinny feet and ankles. Bought this after i broke my ankle and I was no longer in the boot. I was looking for something that would give me good ankle support throughout the day but was also easy to take on and off. This brace was just perfect and gave me the support i was looking for. It is also great quality and after using it for a long period of time Its still in great shape to use in the future should another injury arise. Its also not too bulky so i had no problem getting my shoes on over it. I would definitely recommend this brace.

I recently really messed up my ankle and bought this brace to help specifically with both the low and high ankle sprain while I healed up. It really did a good job of helping me be more mobile while supporting the weak and healing joint. I had a low (regular) ankle sprain, a minor high ankle sprain, and an avulsion fracture on the inside of my ankle as well. Once I could stand the lateral pressure from any brace on the inside of my ankle this quickly became my go-to brace for moving around. Now that I've recovered a bit more I've used it to run a few miles, and it works well enough for that too. The only downside is that it puts some backward pressure on my shin after a bit which isn't ideal after a mile or two. I've since switched to a basic neoprene brace that provides minimal support. Overall, it's a great brace - especially if you have a minor high ankle sprain. That said, my goal is to not need it as soon as possible ... not because it's a bad brace but because I'd rather heal up and not need any brace at all.

Provided good support and kept my food stable and protected when out in public. Very good quality too.

I fell a couple of months ago - bad sprain and a hairline fracture of my ankle. Still recovering and have been wearing a different type of brace that supports from behind my ankle which has been great, but hitting a plateau in healing so trying this brace. I put it on as soon as I got it and I love the feel of slight compression and much better stability in front and around my ankle than the other brace I was wearing. I believe this will facilitate my recovery nicely!

I purchased this to support my ankle following an inversion sprain. Either mine is defective, or it is the WORST ankle brace I have ever encountered. The strap that starts beneath the foot literally cannot be pulled snugly around and across to line up as the manufacturer has designed. Pulling it even GENTLY snug results in the rest of the strap just running up the lateral ankle and lower leg. If I run the straps according to design, the piece coming from beneath the foot gaps tremendously where it leads up to and attaches to the nylon strap, and provides no support to the ankle. I attempted several other ways of placing the straps, and nothing worked. At this point I am in MORE pain from the half a dozen attempts, and am both upset and frustrated. I double checked the size chart on the manufacturer's DJO Global website. Since I wear a 9-9.5 women's, I ordered the Aircast Airsport Ankle Brace, Right foot, Medium. I made sure to order it directly from Amazon instead of cheaper via 3rd party. This box seemed to have the right sticker seals, but the brace had a bit of dry skin on it, and there were no instructions in the box. The tag inside the brace matches the manufacturer's part number for this brace and size.

I badly sprained my ankle and needed a good support system for recovery. My shoe size is 8.5 to 9 and I have skinny weak ankles--but it was hugely swollen. So I was on the fence between a small or medium. I ended up ordering the small and due to the swelling it was too tight & very uncomfortable. I then ordered the medium & it is so much more comfortable (but of course you can't return this) I think when the swelling goes down the small will be good for everyday wear. It also depends on what socks you might wear--a thicker sock would never have fit in the small. It seems like a well made & supportive device. Odd strap set up though. The long main support strap wraps around--kind of figure 8 style. The fabric cover to keep the velcro from sticking to things is kind of weird but works OK. I'm still not getting around too much but think this will work well when I start getting back to normal activities.

I got this air cast when I sprained my foot/ankle. The doctor did not have the correct size so I ordered it from Amazon. The air cast arrived the next day and fit perfectly. I'm very happy with it.

Tuve que usar este producto después de romper una pierna y herir mi tobillo. Me dio mucho apoyo a mi tobillo. Es un poco grueso. Sólo podía usarlo con zapatos anchos (como Crocs). Lo usé por 3 monnths y pensé que ayudó mucho.

Excellent just what I needed to help me get back into tennis after twisting my ankle skiing. Supportive and much easier to put on and take off than aircast a60 and also provides more support and still allows a good range of movement. Note though this is for the Aircast Sport not the aircast rail. (The sport was what I was looking for so was pleasantly surprised when I received that and not an aircast rail. idk what the aircast rail even is so I think the amazon description is wrong)

Mit dieser Schiene bin ich richtig glücklich. Ich zog mir vor ein paar Jahren einen Bänderriss zu. Aufgrund meiner extremen Arbeitsbedingungen wird mein betroffener Knöchel immer wieder in Mitleidenschaft gezogen und wenn ich auftrete fühlt es sich wie ein Gehen auf Messern an. Zum Schluß dachte ich :"Jetzt geht gar nichts mehr, wie sollst Du weitermachen?". Dank dieser Schiene kann ich mich vollkommen Schmerzfrei bewegen und der Knöchel wird auch gestärkt. Ich habe mir dieselbe Schiene gleich ein zweites Mal als Reserve bestellt. Lässt sich gut tragen in allen Schuhen und Arbeitsstiefeln. Lieferung erfolgte schnell. Aufpassen beim anpassen... ein bissel üben damit kein unerwünschter Druck entsteht.
