I LOVE these shoes. I am a size 7, ordered size 7, and they fit me perfectly. There's enough room for my toes, so the pointed toe is not a problem (as I was expecting). The 2.75 inch heels are just enough to be cute AND comfortable. The top of the shoes that goes over the ankle is pretty stiff and digs into my legs, so I'll be wearing leg warmers around the house to stretch them out before my wedding, but you have to break in every new pair of shoes. The laces that came with the shoes are a stretchy nylon-type material, and the aglets make re-lacing pretty easy. I ordered the shoes in ivory, which is a lovely, delicate cream color that is still "white", not yellowish. However, the laces are slightly more yellow in color, which led to my decision to use satin ribbon in a matching cream color to lace them up. I'll still probably use these laces on other shoes because they're so darn cute. I did notice during re-lacing (to find a pattern I liked best), that the lace that's laid on the shoes started to fray and come apart around the lacing holes. So be very careful. Or use" fray-check" on the holes before playing around with lacing designs. Also, the bottom of the shoes does not provide grip or traction. You may want to put double sided tape or something to make them less slippery. Overall, I am so happy with these shoes! I'll add a picture, though not sure how well you can see the difference in lace color.

Gorgeous and exactly what I was looking for! I plan to wear these with my ivory wedding dress and the color matches perfectly. The only drawback are the shoelaces. They are beautiful but as others have commented, yellow in comparison to the lace on the shoe. I'm not sure why? You can certainly replace them if it bothers you that much. I'm personally going to wear them as is. I normally wear a size 8 which is what I ordered and they fit perfectly with some room to spare. Even though they are pointy, they seem to be comfortable (although I haven't worn them for any extended period of time yet!) Highly recommend and I'm very happy with them!

These boots are more beautiful than I expected. I was afraid they might be a bit tacky, but not at all. Fit was quite accurate: I bought the 7 to fit my usual 6.5, and there will be room for a ball of foot cushion or something like that. The ivory color is a warm ivory; the laces they come with are slightly yellower than the boot itself. The laces are a stretchy flat soft lace. I'm not sure how durable they will be, but I intend to replace them with satin laces that might be closer in color to the boot. These are so much more comfortable than a pair of pumps or heels would be. I'm really happy with this purchase!

I love the design of this book. It's cute and feels comfortable so far, AFTER I tied the laces. They keep my narrow foot from slipping into the very pointy toe box. If not for the laces, I'm pretty sure the toe box would be painful. One issue is that the tongues don't stay in place. They slip to either side. I'll probably sew a little snap or some Velcro to the inside and the tongue to keep them in place.

I wore these for my entire wedding and they were so beautiful and comfortable; I was able to dance all night without issue and they made for some amazing photos as well.

The pair arrived in excellent condition and perfect packaging.The shoes are true to size and very comfortable. They do feel a little cardboard-like when you wear them. They are definitely not soft, but that also serves the purpose of keeping the pair in the shape they are. The details on these boots are amazing. They are nicely put together and feel comfortable. I have thick ankles and they felt pretty good around my legs so I would say they may be a little loose around yours if you have small/thin ankles.One thing to remember is that the upper-front /toe-cap is longer that it seems in the advertised pictures, meaning the front part of the boots are really long. Also, since the material is steady and covered with lace, they are not very soft around your ankles. This is another reason why the wider opening works better with these shoes. They are definitely long and a little tighter around the mid-foot. Even with the unique material and construction, these shoes are amazingly comfortable.The material used are durable enough, as I have used the boots for almost a year on multiple occasions and they still look new. Although the lace is starting to show it a little on the edges, almost like it's being rubbed off. But I guess that is the cost of having lace on your feet! Again, the details are amazing and the shoes are well-made.Altogether, I think this pair was a great buy. I have tried to be very careful with my review, and I will be happy to answer any further questions about my own experience with this product. You can use it to complete your Victorian costume, wear it out to compliment your elegant summer/spring outdoor party dress, or to a formal gathering like a wedding! But rest assured, the odds are slim that you'll spot a thunder stealer!

Purchased these as my wedding shoes. So happy with them and the detail. The reviews are accurate with regards sizing. I was afraid of this but a size 5 gave me plenty of room ( my size is usually 5.5 UK and I would generally buy boots in size 6)

Wore these boots all day and evening. They were surprisingly comfortable and fit as sized. Would highly recommend.
