I would highly recommend this sleep mask being someone who struggles to sleep with light. I have lost my other sleep mask that was my holy grail, but this one has taken it's place. The quality of the material is brilliant and is very comfortable and soft. It is adjustable with velcro and has a cut out area that fits around your nose so that you can still breathe easily. It blocks the light out very well, and so far I've not woken up with it back to front or halfway off my head haha. I am glad that after my search for another decent sleep mask, I came across this one. Give it a try, if like me, you struggle to sleep with any light whatsoever on!

The first was very comfortable around the eyes and blocked out light perfectly, but it would come off during the night quite a lot. That's actually how I lost it -- it came off during the night in a hotel bed and must have slipped behind the bed or something. The second I had was an Alaska Bear sleep mask, which I still have but is now a backup. That came off every night, didn't block all light and the elastic was uncomfortable around my ears. It's also got some bobbling on the elastic. So onto this one. I was drawn to the very large strap, I wanted to see if it made a difference to the mask staying on. I've had it on every day for a week now and it hasn't come off once! There's been a couple of mornings where I've woken up and it has been turned around slightly but I'm overall very impressed. The strap itself uses velcro to tighten, rather than an adjustable elastic band with a buckle that the others have had. This makes if more comfortable on the ears and it stays tight on the whole night without coming loose. There's a little bit of extra material around the nose area that helps block light coming through the bottom. However, you need to put the mask on fairly tight for it to make a difference, which makes it more uncomfortable on the eyes as the mask pushes on your eyelids. This is where it differs (in a bad way) compared to the other masks I've used; they had padding around the eyes to relieve the pressure and they were more comfortable in that respect. If this mask could have combined that with the large velcro strap then it would have been the best of both worlds.

Never used a sleep mask before, but had to look one up as both my partner and myself lately have suffered from work stress that results in disrupted and bitty overnight sleep. The difference is, my partner uses her mobile when she can't sleep to scroll through stuff to help her go back to sleep. That kept me, on the other hand, from falling asleep again (or woke me up in the middle of the night, as i could detect light through my closed lids). Rather than sleeping separately (we still enjoy each other's company :-D) I decided to check out sleeping masks to see if that could be a solution. Two things were a must: a) I mainly sleep on my side, so the mask should stay put (and not get dislodged or be uncomfortable) when turning from side to side (with my head rolling on the pillow), and b) the mask must feel comfortable on the head (which precludes synthetic elastic straps around the head, as they're tight and pull on my hair). After a bit of search I settled on trying this mask (which got star reviews). To begin with, I was apprehensive for I'd never used one before. Right enough, the first few nights were difficult as I wasn't used having stuff around my head whilst sleeping. Very soon, however, I got used to it and after that, wow, my sleep quality improved massively! Things that work well: - This, I imagine, is one of the softer sleeping masks on the market. The cotton lining is extremely soft and makes for a cool interface, meaning my forehead and face don't sweat. - Like others have said, no light goes through this mask when I got my eyes shut. None whatsoever. If any light might creep in slightly is from under the nose, when I have my eyes open, and that's because I wear this mask quite loosely fastened around my head. - Adjustable fastening, WITHOUT synthetic elastic straps. Cotton cover extends all round the mask, which fastens through a velcro strap that helps adjust how tight you wear it around the head. When wearing it very tight, it gave me a slight headache (as i've said I'm not used wearing stuff around my head during sleep), so I loosened it a bit and it feels super comfortable. - Through the night, I often roll from side to side and my head does the same on the pillow. Because this mask is, in effect, one size/thickness all round, i.e., no thin strap vs main mask bulk contrast, it doesn't get dislodged against the pillow as my head moves. Instead it follows smoothly my head movement, and does so even worn more loosely fastened than it could be. Also, I don't experience any pull to my hair through the contact with an elastic band. Things that don't work well: - Nothing really, except that first couple of times I wore the mask quite tightly fastened and I felt pressure on my head through the night and my forehead sweated a bit. But that was my own fault, once I loosened the velcro strap a bit, I never had the same effects. Results have been a massive success. It allows me to sleep quite well through my partner's trawling through social media on her phone (even a couple of times putting her bedside light on to search for pills) and, thus, kept the both of us in the same bed! I've now ordered a second one to wear while I wash this one and will be taking it on my next trip abroad!.

These masks are great, as you can adjust easily to the perfect size for your head & also soft against your face, as well as being very easy to wash in between uses. They cut out all light once fixed and in the winter keep your face warm! Would highly recommend buying.

Very, Very Comfortable and Gives 100% Black-Out. There are all kinds of 'Mind-Folds' available but this is the Most Comfortable I have tried: Daily Meditation, also for Travelling on Plane/Train. It may look 'cumbersome' but it is NOT. Very Light, Soft Material, also comes with a pair of Ear Plugs in their own pouch. Highly Recommended.

Where to start. It is much more comfortable than the cheap sleep masks I have previous obtained from airport shops or the complimentary one given out on the plane. It also does not bleed light round the edges like the cheap and complementary masks. Does it completely shut out light, sort of depending upon your environment. I am already darkish / low light room or an airplane (even with all the window blinds up), yes it does. In a well sunlit room or a train, nearly. As it is sort of a dark gray rather than black but for me that is sufficiently dark that all I have is black when I close my eyes. You can lay on your side with and it is comfortable and still effective. I purchased mine for travelling. The reason for three stars is whilst it does not bleed light round the edges, it is also advertised to completely cut out light, in brighter rooms, trains, light airport lounges it does not. With you eyes open they is a grey hue. The second reason for three stars. When I travel I like to use my noise cancelling headphones or my noise cancelling earbuds. The side or this mask cover your ears so you can't wear over ear headphones. When securely fastened not to keep slipping down, whilst comfortable in itself, add ear buds and when placed in you ear and the mask is secured over them it places pressure on the earbuds and very quickly the earbuds becomes uncomfortable. The same with the ear plugs that come with the mask, once covered by the masks side even in an air conditioned aircraft I found over time the ear canal became overly warm and the ear plugs became uncomfortable. This mask does it's job reasonably well and if I was using it at home it would be fine but as I purchased it for travel and with it on cannot effectively cut out noise, I now have to purchase an alternative type of mask.

I preferred the look of this over others as it has a wide band rather than a strap which might cause discomfort. Seems like it was a good choice. Material is really soft, smooth and light. Putting it on is super simple and completely blocks out light. Comfortable enough to sleep with, even with headphones in. I'd seen a few with shaped cavities to allow you to open your eyes with it on. This does not have that. Dont see why its necessary though and certainly didn't cause me any issue not having it. All in all a good buy. Good quality at a reasonable price and does what its supposed to without any fuss.

THIS MASK IS LIKE A HUG FOR MY HEAD!!!! LOVE!!!!! ...the traditional eye masks with elastic cut into my ears and are so uncomfortable. This mask wraps around my ears and head with a secure, strong velcro grip. The mask is comfortable on my eyes and provides complete black out conditions for a restful sleep. Best mask I've ever put on my eyes (and I've tried a lot of them! =)

What I really like about this sleep mask is that I can adjust how tight I want it. I personally enjoy to wear it loose and if I wake up without it that means that I slept really good. Don't confuse that this mask will just fall out of your head, it actually depends how tight you adjust it. I don't feel pressure in the eye whatsoever and it is pretty dark even with some lamps on. I would not expect to be pitch black if there is a light pointing at my face but in a general bedroom environment seems to work perfectly. I'm just happy with this product.

Mit Abstand die besten Schlafmaske für Seitenschläfer. Bei anderen Masken hatte ich immer das Problem, das diese verrutscht sind oder gedrückt haben, wenn ich mich auf die Seite gedreht habe. Diese Maske sitzt perfekt, ist sehr weich, verrutscht nicht und erzeugt auch keinen Druck. Auch das kein klassisches Band vorhanden ist, sondern die Ohren gleich mit bedeckt werden ist sehr angenehm. Absolute Empfehlung!!
