If your into engineering drawing or anything further (like investing time in a involved design project) start with something like this title to lead you into the liaison position between someone who knows how to draw up tech specs and finished “model”.

I got this book at the recommendation of a professor here on campus. It is loaded with helpful information and details about product design. I have been an design engineer for over 30 years and this book is great!

This one is my textbook. It is a good book.

The physical Third Edition does not match the Kindle-version of the Third Edition. Equations, charts, and graphics presumably misread by Amazon's automatic digital converter are blatantly incorrect in the Kindle text. Fortunately, since I had both books, I was able to notice this, but I'm concerned to think some unsuspecting students in the future will suffer in their classes after making this purchase! The Kindle version should be removed from the store, with only the original scans of the textbook available for purchase.

For expensive as this book is, it should be compatible with all kindle devices. Specifically in my case the Kindle Oasis 9th gen. If anyone knows a work around please advise.

Advertised as hard back from the UK, but arrived as paperback international version (pirated?) from somewhere in India.

This book was by far the Worst book I have ever had to use for any of my classes in my Masters program. It was poorly written and even worse, it had an abundance of mathematical errors that made me think the editing was the fault. Each chapter had at least... AT LEAST one mathematical error which in turn completely ruined this whole class for me. It was unfortunate because I truly wanted to learn in this class but when we were forced to use the equations out of the book that would differ from examples in the book, it was unclear on which equation to use. I feel that I studied tremendously for my tests from this book, but I learned the wrong thing. This definitely needs to be rewritten and reviewed at least 100 times before it is released again. What a waste of money.
