These little adapters are awesome. I have used other micro HDMI adapters and here are the things I like about these that are different: 1: The build is solid. The cables are firm and durable. They've lasted me 6 months so far with no wear at all. 2: The connections are tight. Other adapters had fairly loose connections and the cables would come apart fairly easily. I had to worry about bumping into the cable because it would disconnect. With these adapters, the full size HDMI cable snaps firmly into the connector. It is not hard to connect or disconnect, it just feels firm, like a well built product. 3: It is a straight connection, not a 90 degree elbow. The 90 degree connections cover the power connection to my tablet so I could not have the tablet plugged in to the charger while the adapter was in, but with this one I can. 4: You get 2 of them and they're inexpensive! Cons: I really can't think of any. Overall, great buy. Would do it again.

I received these in record time, of course, via Prime. Thank You, Amazon. At first they didn't work. Either one. I tried several different HDMI cables in different configurations. In several devices. Nothing. I got frustrated and put them in a drawer thinking I had purchased duds. After a month or so, I was digging through the drawer and spotted them again. I thought I'd give them another shot. So I connected one to an HDMI cable plugged into the TV. When I plugged into my ASUS tablet, I noticed the micro-HDMI plug wasn't going all the way into the port. Of course, it didn't work. On a whim, I pushed harder, and suddenly the TV displayed a picture! Whaaaaah!? So my conclusion is this. They work great, however the plug is a little short. You have to make sure they are properly seated, even if it seems you might break the plug by using a little more force than you are used to. Once seated, they work great and don't fall out. I'm glad I bought them!

UPDATE 9/1/2025: Cable Matters promptly reached out to me and fixed the issue. 10/10 customer service! Initial review: Only one of the two works. I bought two but only one of the adapters work. Tested with the same HDMI cord, same TV, and same camera. It worked for 30 seconds and then stopped working completely. Disappointed!!

Just great ! If you're looking for any cable, this is the brand to buy IMO. Items are always as described and until now, always been working as advertised.

I use these with Raspberry Pi boxes and they convert HDMI to full size with no issue. Perfect picture everytime.

Good and working product. It would be good to have an option to buy as one instead of a pair.
