we generally use one to two per gallon, not precise, just sort of glug some into a bucket of water

I just apply it when I put new plants in the ground or if I transplant them.

Yes it can be used after transplanting, I use it for all my transplants. Never a problem.

Do I apply it again after planting? How often?

waited a week and gave it some more and then they were fine, but I did use on one stressed plant 3 times a week apart
